All things related to pulling loops to create hooked pieces. I use the North American settler craft of rug hooking.
The Pull of the Loop Interview
Why did I put on an exhibition that shows my 45-year love affair with rug hooking?
The act of pulling a loop gives me a sense of peace and a connection to the past as I make my hooked pieces. I use a simple technique of one stitch to create my fibre art, as did the North American settler women who started it 160 years ago. That makes me happy and producing this exhibit also makes me happy. @SuSutherland

Finishing irregular shaped hooked pieces

The last step in making hand hooked pieces is finishing. Irregular shaped and small hooked pieces are often difficult to finish. This video shows how to use glue and then yarn to give a professional finish to a piece.

You are a wonderful human and when you spoke of children and anxiety you warmed my heart. Thank you from my family, 😊 Your piece about yoga looks strikingly like a picture of my mom 😉
