😎👍👍
I've been in 49 states. My wife and I recently moved to northeastern Tennessee for a couple of reasons, one of which is the motorcycle riding! In all of the states I've been in, none have had such incredible riding as is found here in northeastern Tennessee, southern Virginia, southeastern Kentucky, Georgia, and the Carolinas. We are near the infamous "FAIL of the Dragon," which is not anywhere near the best ride, but it is fun. It just doesn't get any better than northeastern and eastern Tennessee!! Ride safe. Ride well. Ride often.
Cajun country got this festive vibe i love it 😂also that chicken cracks me up
Years later i still love this vid
Negro Leajgue was the best baseball!
Thank you for this quick informative video. There’s so many vloggers out there that just won’t get to the point .

Predates parades in places like New Orleans by centuries since it came from rural Medieval France
you do realize.... it has the exact same origin, don't u? I mean unless there is another France around here that I don't know about. The popular Mardis Gras parade in New Orleans is also based off a French tradition too. The origins of Mardi Gras can be traced to medieval Europe, passing through Rome and Venice in the 17th and 18th centuries to the French House of the Bourbons. From here, the traditional revelry of "Boeuf Gras," or fatted calf, followed France to her colonies. On March 2, 1699, French-Canadian explorer Jean Baptiste Le Moyne Sieur de Bienville arrived at a plot of ground 60 miles directly south of New Orleans, and named it "Pointe du Mardi Gras" when his men realized it was the eve of the festive holiday. Bienville also established "Fort Louis de la Louisiane" (which is now Mobile) in 1702. In 1703, the tiny settlement of Fort Louis de la Mobile celebrated America's very first Mardi Gras. In 1704, Mobile established a secret society (Masque de la Mobile), similar to those that form our current Mardi Gras krewes. It lasted until 1709. In 1710, the "Boeuf Gras Society" was formed and paraded from 1711 through 1861. The procession was held with a huge bull's head pushed along on wheels by 16 men. Later, Rex would parade with an actual bull, draped in white and signaling the coming Lenten meat fast. This occurred on Fat Tuesday. New Orleans was established in 1718 by Bienville. By the 1730s, Mardi Gras was celebrated openly in New Orleans, but not with the parades we know today. In the early 1740s, Louisiana's governor, the Marquis de Vaudreuil, established elegant society balls, which became the model for the New Orleans Mardi Gras balls of today. www.mardigrasneworleans.com/history/

Been there on the eastern side. Great riding. Being from Virginia and living in Georgia, don't care what you call it up there. Good scenery, good riding.
That sounds like an awesome ride, I must check it out in 2020.
Made that ride in 2014 on a 2001 fatboy. From Huntsville Alabama to Nashville then down the trace to Natchez. Great week!!
Dude, up here we say EAST Tennessee, not EASTERN Tennessee. "Eastern" is a Kentucky thing.
Got it!
way too !!!!very show !!!!
Good video thanks for sharing
Thank you!
😊 loved the video. Live in Maryville and didn’t know about the Devil’s Triangle. Gonna ride it before winter.
Thanks, John! Enjoy the ride!
how far away from each other must the cones be in order to make those motorcycles fit?
I'm not sure; I suggest contacting Emerald Coast Motorcycle Challenge (they are on Facebook) and they could answer your question. Thanks!
And why does it have to be the "Devil's" Triangle?? Why can't it be the "Magic" Triangle? Stop giving the devil credit for God's wonder!
You've got a good point there, Michael.
Because we lived in a world controlled by the darkness... but that is coming to an end. I agree with you 100% and we can go one better because triangles are satanic as well. Why not just call it Gods Skyway? Angel Curves? The Road to Enlightenment? God bless Mr Landis.
Over here in NE Tennessee, we say "East Tennessee" not "Eastern Tennessee"
That is a beautiful road to ride a motorcycle.
I've seen this one many times in years past.

Both towns were Started by “BLACK PEOPLE” BLACK MEANS WHITE BY THE WAY
Please explain.
My family originated from Nacogdoches in the early 1900s gentrifications took place and they took their land (Caddo Indian territory) so they moved east living on the Sabine River on the Louisiana/Texas Border. We were lied to. Aboriginal, American, and Indian described “black” people in the 1828 Webster’s dictionary. Black derived from the Latin word Blac meaning pale or bleached (white) Black, Bleak, and Bleach are all radically one word. blanc in Spanish means white and Blanké is a Caucasian person. Drop the N. Blacks are the true “NATIVE AMERICANS” That’s why they keep changing our name: American, indian, negro, slave, black, (Copper) Colored, African American. Martin Luther King Jr said “Before the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth, we were here.” Malcom X said “We didn’t land on Plymouth Rock,(meaning we didn’t come on slave ships) Plymouth Rock landed on us. (Meaning we were here when they arrived)
Not true they were started by native Americans . Nacogdoches and natchodoches were native Americans brothers .
@@theaboriginetank5888 What a crock of $h!+,..are that big of an idiot that you believe that? Or are you that big of a liar that you want someone else as stupid as you to believe it?
Both towns were started by two brothers that were native Americans, one decided to stay in Louisiana and the other went to Texas, that’s why they are named natchitoches, and nacodgoches
Wish he was my Grandpa

Best comment by the Old guy.... "I think this is the best place I've ever lived, but I ain't lived no where else!"
Going to make this ride right after the HOG ride this May 2018.
I had a great time with the rally. Had a 40+ year reunion with high school classmate. Love Louisiana. I'm from Kansas and we spoke about your ride through the Flint Hills. Get some more material out here.
Not any more we have been found.
We grew up on the trace as children. The last time we went to our favorite spot, it was ruined by motorcycle noise. There needs to be a noise law enacted and enforced.
I swear I've seen that building in the thumbnail before
