Not sure how having 3rd row rear seats makes it less functional ??

Still way more reliable than Mercedes, BMW, VW, Audi etc.

In europe we have only hev and phew with normal 6AT. Not 8DCT

Bought a Santa Fe AWD Hybrid in May 2024 and only have 1000 miles on it. Got a power train transmission failure message. Car has been in service for over 30 days and they can't figure out how to get the battery to hold a charge. I am not pleased with their lack of service and had to ask for a loaner. I think they need to recall this car asap!

As with any car model, you will run into a disaster. This is why in Florida, we have the lemon law. I don't know about other states. Yet a friend of many years work for the Better Business Bureau and he has seen everything on every model. I'm at 9000k miles with my 2024 Santa Fe SEL and I could not be more pleased. It is so quiet on the road and I am very focused on fit and finish. If it is cheap plastic and cheap knobs on the interior, I would walk away. Not so on this Hyundai! Quiet, no squeaks, knocks the transmission is super smooth. If you accelerate at a normal pass you just won't feel it shift! The seats are very comfortable and there are no hiding spots looking outside. The technology is fantastic. This SEL will even replace the cabin air, when parked at any time you desire. The engine does not turn on, just the fan. So, here in hot Clearwater, Florida, I set the refresh for 12:20 p.m. and have the car start to air-condition at 12:30 p.m. for a few minutes before I walk out and go to work. Love it!!!! Set it and forget it! Once you drive this vehicle, you will want to purchase!

I just bought a new santa fe calligraphy and absolutely love it and have 0 issues. I've adjust driven it over 2k miles

I own a 2018 Hyundai, Santa Fe Sport, Ultimate. I love the car. It’s easy to drive and loads of power. Hyundai has great warranties. For me, they have stood behind their warranty. I find them very good to work with. Had a few problems but they made the needed repairs. Vehicle runs great. I don’t think there is a vehicle on this planet that doesn’t have a few recalls.

The review just proves never let facts get in the way of a good moan.

I couldn't dissagree more with this video. It exagerates features that some people do like while the only true statement will be that larger tires might provide a less comforable ride. But most importantly, only the 2.5 engine option is the one coupled with the problematic transmission which, by the way, has been updated with a different software to minimize or even prevent the problem.

The calligraphy is an amazing ride. The inside and options is top notch. We were gonna get a lexus suv but got the Sante Fe Calligraphy instead. Better ride, everything you can think of is inside of it half price of lexus

Although I just put a deposit down on a calligraphy hybrid, I did drive the ice version the other day. I thought the large 21” tire rode perfectly fine, no road noise and smooth over imperfections. I’ll admit a little concern about the dct issue that they’ve been working on for the last few years. They denied there was a problem, like they did about the Theta II main bearing issue for years. Yet my, and thousands of others, had their engines replaced. I’m just saying, while I’m still buying their cars, I wouldn’t believe everything they say.

Hey, Genius, the transmission issue has been resolved. It was a software issue, not the DCT transmission itself. Current buyers have nothing to worry about.

I work for Hyundai. These are very nice vehicles. Yes there has been some trans issues but it’s warrantied.

I got my 2020 hyundai santa fe but to be honest I don't like this new one

Should check the news my friend. Issue with the transmission is fixed. Was related with tcm software issue that kill the transmission. Hyundai has fix the issue with a recall and replace under warranty the transmission. 3er row in my acura mdx is the same.. Is only for kids or short trips. Should update this video..

So your description says this is a buyers guide for the hybrid model but then give a takeaway about the gas transmission. Your luxury critique is pretty bogus to me but that is more an opinion statement anyways so not really useful in this video. Also, you talk about limited third row seating on a model that has some of the most third row space than any of its competitors? Lastly, not only is what you say about larger wheel making the ride worst absolutely wrong but they are definitely a nicer luxury look than smaller tires. Not only that the hybrid tires aren't even mention here. In conclusion, you not only didn't talk about the hybrid elements even though you included that in the description for the video but it is abundantly clear that you just don't like Hyundai in general and shouldn't have been making a poorly done critique video to begin with.

The only concern I have is the transmission. Otherwise I totally like this upgraded Santa Fe XRT is the one I like. Unfortunately there is no hybrid XRT
