Does anyone know what chord/strings he's playing during the chorus? Ultimate guitar references a D chord, but I don't think it's a full D...
Definitely no D shape in this song. He's playing Am/D - Am7 - C. You play the Am with your middle finger on the 3rd string, then move your middle finger from the 3rd string to the 4th string to play Am7 for one beat, then lay down your lower fingers to play the C chord. Also, the outro on Ultimate Guitar is all wrong. Use the shapes above with hammer-ons to alternate between G and C, then finish with Em.
