Strange Video considering Jared's case has already been resolved. Sept 12th 2024 - Prosecution released their witness list which included a detective jared confessed molestation to and 3 family members who would testify to abuse/rape, including the original complainant. Also details of 2 further rapes were to be brought up on separate individuals not named as witnesses. Sept 18th, just days before his trial was due to start, jared took a plea deal to lesser charges. He pled no contest to 3rd degree felony aggravated assault. This was much less than the victim was allegedly promised he would receive. jared had to pay a $1000 fine, pay $2500 to a non-profit and write a letter of apology to the rape victim. The utah courts are incredibly lenient on pedophiles. jareds own half brother pled guilty to 2 of 4 counts of forcible sexual assault on a 13 year old when he was 19 and only received 5 days in jail jared is now a felon and cannot own guns. What about Amazon selling items as new then shipping them without protection so that the arrive in what their own website describes as used condition? According to feedback and personal experience over more than a decade this is a common problem with a simple solution that Amazon refuses to address. The price of reshipping returns alone should be cost prohibitive, but this is their policy. When I order what is listed as new, I expect a new item to arrive. If you sell collectible items and refuse to protect them in transit, you affect the whole community of collectors as this drives prices up for the items not damaged by negligence, and this is clearly negligence. Amazon description of a used item "(Like new): An item in perfect working condition, the packaging may bear some damage. The item fully functions, and all its essential accessories are complete." This is what you get more than half the time when ordering new. This seems like it's fraudulent after so many years of feedback and complaints to their customer service about this very issue with zero changes to policy despite their own legal descriptions.
