I've just discovered your podcast and am quite enjoying it. Night Court is on my top 10 sitcoms too and I also loved it as a kid. BTW There is a night court in Manhattan and it became kind of a weird tourist attraction. The picture in the main title isn't the night court though, that is the NY county supreme court which is pretty close to where the night court is. I didn't know Joel Hodgeson was ever on SNL! That's kinda cool to find out!

I got a show for you Less Than Perfect 2002-2006.

In one episode Doug and Carrie meet on a kind of blind date and another episode they elude to them going to highschool together.

Season 3 has never been released on DVD.

A top 5 sitcom for me for sure, one of the few sitcoms that actually make me laugh out loud, and the quality does suck on streaming, looks better on the tv re runs

I binge-watched the whole series this past month (ended it yesterday). I think the best season was probably the third one. And the worse season was the last one. It's hard to not feel a little at odds with the change in the cast, and I don't think Jon Lovitz worked well with them until the show was almost finished. I think the best element of the show was the farcical moments. Like the time when they were trying to save Matthew's job, by sacrificing another employee, and then Matthew would come in and fight the decoy employee, all silently, behind Lauren Graham's back. And the show had many of those moments that were just amazing. I always loved that show, and I have I think it is up there with 3rd Rock from the sun in terms of absurdist humor. And speaking of... French Stewart made an appearance in the show as well, as a guy that was weirder than Matthew.
