On top of that id say artstyle is less and less gritty and more and more disneylike. Real mmorpg fans moved on already to better games. I would prefer to play a 20 year old ragnarok online than wow, at least i feel like my time spent in RO is respected. Same goes for Guildwars 2, simply superior to wow in all aspects now.

The battle royale looks fun! I wish it was free to play and didn't require a sub though. It would be interesting if they went free but added cosmetic micro transactions or even a battle pass. And then mounts, pets, transmog, titles, etc. bought in the store or earned through the battle pass (free and paid tiers) could be carried over to your chosen character in retail (or even your entire account in retail).
