I would add a conduit strap to each of those conduits about 8 to 10 inches below the timer box.

Next up on the list for me to do at our house we just moved into about 3 years ago. Wife insisted on having an electrician do a bid; She determined that my offer of just a dinner and a kiss was better than the $300.00 bid the electrician gave her to do the job. 😆Works for me, Happy wife, Happy life 😉

@@YourElectricianBuddy Safety first, Already replaced our main panel from a 1960's Bryant panel to a new 200 amp SquareD and attached two new grounding rods and attached it to the poured cement pad that had a grounding lead right next to the Service Entrance location, no one bothered to tie it into the bonding for the house....🤔 Sometimes I scratch my head when I see safety things not taken advantage of...Passed inspection with the city and the inspector asked if I was an electrician. Nope just had to do tons of things in the military and as a firefighter. Now retired. 🥳

@@BackwoodsLaw definitely your training is paying off. Sounds like you have retired with good health. As for safety, yes I have come across some really scary things. True we are always learning and the longer time goes on safety has to be refined daily.

Great video! I have an old house with a metal box on the inside of the home. I want to use that for power to run to my new box outside. Is it up to code if I drill through that box?

Thanks for the compliment. Most metal boxes have a 1/2 knock out stamped in the back. But if not you can drill out the hole and insert a plastic snap-in connector. Here is what I use. RACO Plastic Connector, Snap-In: Thermoplastic, 1/2 in Trade Size., Item 1RVZ1 Mfr. Model 4714. This is a Granger number Hopefully this helps. Be safe! Your Electrician Buddy
