Cool video! I though I’d mention another video. It’s called “Getting Into Korean Music” by the RUclipsr “Shoes in the Dryer” where he mentions the history of Korean music before Seo Taiji and Boys who were the first modern Kpop group. The video is really interesting and if you wanna get into older Korean music, I’d recommend it!

As someone who got into K-pop way back in 2002, I always love to see newer K-pop fans discovering Baby V.O.X as they were my ult group back in the day with Kan Miyoun being my bias of the group. I would suggest checking out her solo output Miyoun did while she was with Source Music in 2010-2011. I don't know how familiar you are with first generation K-pop, but some of my favorite songs from the era were: Diva - Why calling Goofy - Sad Love Story Turbo - Black Cat Nero Chakra - Hey U Papaya - Listen To My Words Demix - Two Women S#arp - Tell Me Tell Me K-POP - Mirage Roo'Ra - Moving g.o.d - Lies Circle - It's All Right Click-B - Undefeatable I know Why Calling, Black Cat Nero, Listen To My Words might be more familiar to younger K-pop fans by their cover versions by C.I.V.A/ADYA, ATEEZ/BXB, and Oh My Girl, respectably.
