1976 Ford Courier Field Find that was Right in my Backyard
My friend had one back than with Bultaco handlebars on and we rode the heck out of that little bike and wore the engine out. His Dad worked at a Honda dealer and got a new replacement motor for it. Fun times!
Is the SL for sale?
@@KVette-tp5ft $3,000. It has a title.
This was the first actual dirt bike I had ever had any real contact with as a kid as my buddy had a later 80s XR80. I ended up getting a Suzuki DR 100 shortly after.
I had one brand new. I was 11 years old, my first bike. It was a slow bike and other XR 75's waxed me in any dirt scramble when we "raced" as kids. Catching this in my video feeds brought back a flood of memories. Reliable first kick every time to start and a tank of fuel would last me all day and evening of riding as a youngster on weekends. What a trip to watch this video. You found a little gold there fine sir! Congrats on your find.
My offer is 85 thousand cash. Tomorrow morning. Let me know. Thanks
Wow wish I would have seen this offer sooner. It has been sold.
Nice indeed
Do you have this listed on a website?
@@tedd9704 Sorry, but this vehicle is already sold.
Nice 👍
My first bike was a 72 sl 70 road it every day, loved it, and would like to have another one!
Love simple carbureted bike from the 70's. I have all the computer infested stuff now. I like simple.
I had one of those ('73 orange) and used to ride it to restaurant I worked at. One evening some punks stole it, couldn't start it so threw it off a pier into 18' of Pacific. Broke my heart.
Why it should break your heart? you could buy another one! even a brand new one! I remember in those days Yamaha and Suzuki had the two stroke 80cc which were faster and most of the kids preferred them because Honda 70 was slower!
Good story man, I would feel the same.
@@thomassterns7120 I'd say so. Although they were only about $375 new. It was quite a bit of money then.
@@mcjmotorcompany This was in CA - ~$550 out the door. I was making $1.70/hr.
I remember this bike. This one is in great condition. Unfortunately those bikes were dogs but they run forever with little maintenance. Good luck with it, if I were nearby I might make you an offer . I am in upstate NY
@@Cowboys1977-i9o She's in the keep pile. Same age as myself so we'll stay together. Doubt I'd ever find a cleaner original one.
Sold. Super clean rig went to a great home.
How much will you sell it for ?
Curious if you ever sold your truck?
I bought one just like this new in Jan of 77 had her for 9 years AFTER I installed a friggen Capri Merc. V6 with a 5 speed manual. Trans she ran like a raped ape for the next 3 years. She was fun sexy and fast. Thanks for your story 👍 subscribe too
Ran like a scared gorilla. I still would keep the 4 cylinder engine. I like 4 cylinder engines, easy on gas and tires, basic transportation, what the hey, what else would ya need?
Is it still for sale and how much
You SALE???
Yes.
WHAT SIZE ARE THE WHEELS AND TIRES? AND WHATS THE OFFSET?
255/60-15. Don't know offset they are from 1996. 15x9s.
Nice video mate. 👍Never seen an auto courier. Watching from Australia 🇦🇺
Wonderfull bro
Cuanto?
i love thoise gmt 400 they just last so long and can take a beating idc how old i get i will try to keep mine forever
Beautiful truck. I can relate to it cause I own for 27 yrs a 1992 chev Cheyenne regency sport truck...nice very original. Take care of that truck...your right you can't find them anymore not like yours.
they are not hard to find like this !
I just got a 1980 Ford courier that is in that good of shape that I am doing the same thing to good job brother
Looks like mine a little mine is 1995 nice truck
No AC hard to find one that air-conditioning hasn’t been stuffed on top of
Give you, 10,000
It's going to Bring a Trailer auction site in June, I can't sell before then. Feel free to bid there. You will love it.
It's worth alot more than $10,000....
🐶😎🐶👍
Man that's a very nice Obs Chevy! Just wondering what lowering kit you used? I want to lower mine that height.
Nitro 2" lowering shocks. 2" Front drop springs, 2" lowering shackle mounts and 2" rear shackle mounts. Whole kit available online.
Ok perfect bcz mine has been lowered in the rear 4 in like you said. But I was needing to know how much to lower the front end now. Thank you for your help!
Sorry buddy that is not original at all. Sierra GT don’t have actually GMC emblems. Has the stickers of the Sierra GT on the sides & the back tail gate at the left bottom side. Wheels should be original super sport wheels which you do not have. The GT is a 5.7
Warrior 805. Would you like to bet $100 CASH on your opinion?
@@mcjmotorcompany sure why not! I have 2 origina GMC 5.7 sierra GT. Want to send me your email & we can carry on from there???
@@warrior8053 mjtoyz@gmail.com
Nice Clean 94 truck.. My🔴 93 sierra gt had the the fog lights, super sport wheels, sliding rear window full electric 5.7 fleet side I regret selling it 😢
It is 100% a GT!..Know it all?Go troll somewhere else 🤡
My dad has this exact same truck with the blue interior. God what a beautiful truck! I got to restore the thing. Nice Video!
They made a ton of them but most are used up and gone.
And now for the valve adjustment......Super clean 76! wow....
When I was living in Murfreesboro Tennessee, I really wish I could have gotten a little truck like this to drive back and forth to work with. My car, got hit down there, and even though I used it to go to work with, it really wasn't the most safest thing to drive down there, it was all I had. And running into a little truck like this would be the best thing to happen to me and to get for something to replace my car with.
It ain’t got no AC
That's it. Ordered new in Wisconsin so no AC, not that rare on base models but being a GT I thought it was very odd.
Yo tengo una la vendo
cool truck
cool
Yo tengo una la estoy restaurando
Beautiful looking little truck there. Your very fortunate getting it. If only I had such luck.
Very nice survivor. I had three, a '74, '77, and '84. Great trucks, simple to work on, very cheap to run.
It's actually a Mazda truck, rebadged as a Ford Courier.
Correct. Ford, Nissan, Mazda, Jaguar,Volvo, Austin Martin and Kia are all tied in with Ford Motor Corporation. These little Courriers were excellent little trucks. Loved them.
@@danbasta3677 I had one as a company truck in the '80s. Noisy, rough-riding and tinny, but it ALWAYS started no matter how cold it was and never broke down.
@@steverandall5814I still would drive it, I love these little trucks.
@@danbasta3677 They're about as simple as they come. Not especially comfortable, but they run and run and run.
@@steverandall5814 Yes, they do. In the northern part of the country, they wouldn't last very long because of the ice and snow and the salt they put on the roads. In the South whare winters are much more milder and not much salt at all on the roads, these little trucks would last a great deal of many years as long as you drove them respectfully, and maintained them properly, by that, changing the oil, oil filter, gasoline filter, air filter and keeping the suspension greesed approprately, you'll do well. Even better to paint the chassis and floorboards along with the frame to keep it preserved as much as possible. Maintenance goes an awful long way.
I’m from Missouri as well. Any interest in selling?
Actually sold it already, went to Virginia.
Insanely cool. I'd buy that in a heartbeat!
So would I! I needed a little truck like this when I was living in Murfreesboro Tennessee.
nice find
What you end up paying for that. Was it a great deal
I paid a lot for it. These trucks hold value very well.
