I hate evergarden mostly because she takes off her gloves with her mouth. It contains a lot of anime nonsense, if you want something really decent, you're in the wrong place. I couldn't stand more than 5 episodes. What exactly do I need to understand, even ranking of the kings is more tolerable if you really want drama wrong adress. My second favourite anime if we exclude the movie. It contains spoilers so dont look any further if you dont want to see This series was about Violet learning how to be free and what is love. She was a child soldier since she was so little, she didnt know what feelings are, what is her value and belonged to Gilbert in war. She didn't think for and by herself and her world was revolving around gilbert and only gilbert. In the series she understood what feelings are and her value. She had people that love her and she loves, she becomes an individual person by the end of the series and finally moves on from her unhealty possession of gilbert. The movie threw her whole character development away, the thing that series literally was about. She just preferred to be with gilbert in an island out of nowhere over her new life with the people she loves. When she got out of that boat i was literally stunned with a 🗿 on my face, when they cried and gilbert said he loves her i literally started to cry out of anger and annoyence. If that really was what you wanted gilbert, why didnt you do it sooner? Or did you just put your own good over her even if you knew itd be better to let her be free at the last second? Her jumping off that boat was a symbol for me of her choosing her old life and just erase all that she had learned, her new life and self-worth that she had for herself.

Bro VE is that one anime.

I found this at a time when I felt so depressed I didn't think I even felt anything anymore. I thought it was ironic that I had realized that and found an anime about a girl who showed no emotions, so I watched it. And I realized they were there, somewhere deep where I didn't know how to make sense of them anymore, but I cared and I was going to try my best. The first time I watched it was a blur, and the second time I cried for days just thinking abt it all. I don't even remember most of the show, I'm sure, but at that point in my life, I knew it was the start of someone new, a new life for me no matter how damaged and broken I thought I was. I think its also why I stopped watching animes after the 3rd time I rewatched it a few years later, because nothing would ever compare and I didn't need it to. The best emotional support is sometimes the ones that let you move on, and leave them behind when they don't feel right anymore. This show rebuilt something inside of me, and I struggle a lot still, but I could never imagine going back to the person I used to be. It was really something to see a girl fight to the death for the only life she cared about, and then being spurred back into the world without him. I guess I realized I wanted to fight too, because there's always more out there. The sadness follows you, but it feels alright when other things bring happiness along with it. Sometimes that sorrow changes into something that makes everything feel better, as well. Like all that sadness wants you to be happy too.

I’ve never watched another anime quite like Violet Evergarden. Never has an anime been able to break my heart repeatedly only to build it back up and warm my very soul over and over again. I feel that Violet was the perfect vessel to tell this beautiful journey of loss, growth, and self discovery. A girl who’s lost her everything goes out into the world to define “love” for herself. And, in a way, you can’t help but feel like you’re growing with her and you find yourself redefining what it means to live and love. If only I could go back to when I watched this for the first time. To feel that rollercoaster of emotion again. Violet Evergarden’s story is one of my all time favorites and because of it I now see the world all the more colorfully than before.

violet evergarden is definetely something. it was beautiful. when i watched the anime (plus the specials), i would always be crying at the end or extremely moved by the way the anime was made. it’s unexplainable.

Finally, some people gave recognitions to this anime, I hope it becomes more popular so it will be seen by more people and try to understand the true concept of love and love creates an impact in your live

One of very few animes that will make you cry on every episode. It made me realize how much I need my family and how much a loss of someone can impact you. It made me realize that deep inside I'm still a human, I have feelings and empathy, that I love making others happy and I would do everything for my friends. I did cry for a long time as much as I cried on violet evergarden
