Nikon CoolPix 3200 Review (Digicam Rant and Welcome to My Channel)!
Просмотров 2,2 тыс.Год назад
Hello! Alex here talking about the Nikon CoolPix 3200! A digicam from March 2004! This nearly 20 year old camera still packs a punch, but it does have a slight downside! Moreover, I talk about the resurgence of digicams over the past few years and show some examples from my friends who know little about photography! I hope you will enjoy the first video on this new channel! Shout out to @Mourni...
I have the same camera and I'm trying to find a good battery for it 😭But idk what to trust
@@keirbears I’ve been using Energizer Double A Rechargeable batteries for awhile now and they work well! Would recommend them so you can keep using them
Thank you for this video, my mother just passed on this camera to me and I started looking through the gallery and saw so many memories I forgot I even had. Within that moment I knew I wanted to do the same so I can make my own precious memories so I can one day look back upon it. ☹️ ‼️
@@alberich1935 I’m so sorry for your loss friend. I would highly recommend getting those photos off of the camera and hopefully having them printed with a picture printing service to save those memories even further. I bet your mother would have loved to see your reactions to those photos. Take it easy friend.
Waw these are kinda expensive in China… I just bought one for 458 RMB (around $60)…
@@antoniaguo0130 Wow that is pretty pricey!
Just found this camera in my flat, it's hella cool, thx 4 the little video about it! Gonna use it everyday now)
HELL YEAH!! I’m glad you are enjoying your camera!!! Thanks for dropping by too and leaving a comment!!! I plan to make more videos soon, so stick around if you want!!!
@@AJ_Photo thx, I made lots of photos with my friends today, camera is absolutely amazing! I really liked the quality of your video, continue filming!)
The lens you will impressed of tbe photos Indeed.
Great video, can see the effort, you should keep making this kind of videos, i just buy almost the same camera yesterday the coolpix 3100, it looks pretty much the same, im just glad that i found this video because i hardly found videos about the camera or something similiar
Hi! Thank you so much for the encouraging words! Unfortunately, I have been very busy with school work :(( I am a senior in university and I will be graduating very soon! I am excited to graduate, but that means I have to be focused on my school work for the time being! However, I do have a bunch of other digicams I want to review and post about on this channel! I am not going to promise anything too crazy, but there are a few hidden gems that I have and want to make similar videos like this! Thank you once again for the support!
Hey! How low can you take the reselution on the camera?
great review bro i’ve been looking for a decent one for this camera for ages
what this video filmed by
I filmed this video on the Sony A7iii and just color graded the footage in Davinci Resolve and added the 4:3 aspect ratio in post as well
i just purchased one a couple mins ago for $2 😭😭
Amazing deal! Hope you have lots of fun with it when it comes in the mail!
The scene fireworks mode was so much fun back in the day.
I love you sm for this. What sd cards does it use?
Thank you for your support! This camera uses any SD cards that are 2 GBs or less! Anything more than that will not work. However, you will still get over 999+ digital files for a single 2 GB card! So anything less than 2 GBs will still work well for this camera! Thanks for subscribing! More content hopefully coming soon!
I bought it at a flee market last week thank you for your review!
Nice! I am very happy to hear that! I’ve actually bought a couple cameras from flea markets before, and they are always fun to use! I hope you are enjoying this camera!
Hey dude, love the video! Im not sure if you can help but ive just bought one of these and all of my sd cards are saying they dont work with the cam and also i put batteries in and it died within 5 mins 😢 do you have any idea how i can fix this??
For the SD Card, make sure that it is 2 GBs or less. A lot of the older digicams from the 2000s can only read a 2 GB or less SD Card. It isn't too big of a deal since the photo sizes are small! I used a 2 GB card for this video and it let me take over 999 photos! For the batteries, I haven't experienced a similar issue. However, I use rechargeable AA batteries! I have also used some batteries that are not rechargeable and they have lasted for awhile. I would suggest using a more higher quality battery for your camera! Nothing like those dollar store AA batteries! Hopes this helps and thanks for stopping by!
@@AJ_Photo thankyou so so much for your help i really appreciate it! I do photography myself but have only really used film cameras and modern digital cameras. In so glad i found your channel because i thought it would be fun to dive into the old digital side of cameras! Looking forwards to seeing what other videos you upload and share with us! Keep it up :)
NIHM BATTERIES ARE BEST
We love them weirdo’s
I really like the vibe of your videos being shot on a cheap low quality cameras, its kind of refreshing to see, especially with all the photography people using all these expensive ass cameras trying to look cinematic. And new youtubers usually use their phones but im really liking the cheap digi-camcorder look of your videos! -JD
I had my start in photography with a small red digital nikon, the camera absolutely sucked but because of that limitation, I was able to expand myself creatively. That camera was the perfect start to learning before my switch into harder cameras with film.
That is the exact reason why I love digicams!!! They suck so much, but I think you can still get unique images with them despite the limitations they may hold! I would love to experiment with film photography (I have only used point and shoots and disposables)! Love the shit you put out too JD! I love the CCD sensor cuz of how old the technology is, but it is like your old grandpa, sometimes you just gotta put him in a retirement home in favor of mirrorless cameras. Thanks for stopping by dude! Appreciate the support !!
Thanks for shouting us out! We are a bunch of weirdos, and digicams are admittedly a blind spot for us, so we look forward to more videos from you! Let us know if you ever want to collaborate, and please look out for more amazing photography videos! -Rick
Thanks for stopping by dudes! I would love to collab in the near future! I will def hit you guys up for an idea soon! But yeah I have a massive hardon for 2000s digicams they are so shit for all the right reasons!!!
