I miss T7 Xiaoyu honestly. It feels like I'm looking for the same exact guess scenarios with her in T8 with her heat/heat burst and all.
@@Hunter-vy4hz you're not wrong. She boils down to heat>50/50 whatever level of play you're playing. Even playong against her the whole target is don't let her get into heat, don't get launched.

@@Gamingawesomeness121 he looks insanely cool and the stage is 2000/10 for me. The only down side is he is WAY too flashy!
DB1 has the ability to also mid-crush DF4 likes, of Shaheen and Dragnov alongside evading favorably against Walljump launchers (Claudio,Auska,Jack,Bears) and Backflippers (Himself,Leroy,Shaheen,most Females) .It had a bug (fixed now) with Azucena not able to hit if she successfully does LIB Stance low parry (even Heat variant lmao) lastly it quite was fun to use in Tag 2 as a Tag combo wall replacement tech too..

don't think raven should be buffed but 100% quality of life buffs so disadvantageous interactions like this don't happen as often. I don't think anyone but Raven players would enjoy this character being meta or high play rate; Raven has A LOT of cheese potential and is generally unenjoyable to play against.
@@cesarbello3893 even if they buff him having this issues is completely useless. These hitbox problems were massive in T7 but in T8 it is just a massive gap in his kit.
He must get buffs on S2. He is pretty low on the tier list.

@@zangana3052 his jabs felt extra ass when I tried him ,now I know it was not just a feeling 🤣 in t7 I was Tekken god maven and now I'm Tekken god lili 🤣 maybe one day I will hit the ranked with raven too ,but he's just so much less interesting to play with in t8 😮💨
@xfreaker9694 I have been sitting on TGS with Raven for long, had one set left to GoD and faced a macro Drag user... got cold from ranking him up. GoD Ling, GoD Yoshi, TG Alisa and TG Kuma and sticking to Kuma now, he is so fun to play. Raven is in a super weird spot rn. The hitbox inconsistency is shown in every single set... it is frustrating so I have to play him the least tbh. Hope they fix him up.

@@DarkJessie20 nope. I played 7 a LOT with Maven. You could boot T7 and try it rn. She used to EVADE Bryan's 1 oB into 1,2 check. So Bryan does 1 oB (+1), Maven mashes 1 (10i) and Bryan does 1 (10i) at the same time, Maven's jab would hit even though Bryan was +1! This situation in T8 is created due to Raven's size. You cannot have a jab whiffing like that and take it normally.

You can just use heat engager after a ch db4 to get a full on launch. Still nice without heat tho, crazy damage

@YungKuroKami I have more stuff just need time to upload. I found extreme easy way to break strong walls in almost any combo as long as you do not flip over before the wall and with it max damage. Working 100% any hurtbox.

impossible game scenario 😂... this video makes idiots hate yoshi and think he is broken when is not. there is enough hate against yoshi.. is a good guy😂
Honestly? Let them do so. But in all fairness, he is, but he is not the only one. The thing that held back Yoshi the most in every game was the damage and pokes. Now because lateral movement is buffed, ss1 CH launcher and spin are godlike in every single match up. Top it up with the insane damage he does at wall (insane for Yoshi, I know we have Paul, Leo, Lee... etc). He is a broken for the damage for the most part, not the healing. Same with Xiaoyu, which both are my mains along with Raven.
@@zangana3052 ss1 is very strong 😂.. spin is nerfed now double damage and the damage from spin is not low but also yoshi has heal and is ok... yoshi movement very bad... yoshi in counter usually have damage but overall yes the damage need to be Little scaled down but not in counter hit

Honestly you can do around 80% easily in real match lol Currently T8, but both games are far from perfect. T8 has a lot of fun factors, but sometimes it can be too much.

In heat, after carrying the opponent to the wall - Ki charge, f(1+2)f when opponent wakes up back to the wall. Db1, flash, cd2 , splat!
@@Just_a_niceguy thing is db1 (CH) is only +7, heat flash is 8i and slower.

@@zangana3052 you're no longer in heat after (Heat) f(1+2)f- it's a heat engager. I've tried this setup and it works. It is inconsistent depending on the axis though.

@@JESSROCKEDChannel the way you practice is you make a checkpoint after the flip over, and try to only restart at KIN 2,1+2 hold ff4 instead of doing the whole combo every time. I do it when I really feel myself, it is difficult, but imo doable.

What does the star mean in the combos?
@@Zorahime29 you let go of the previous input for a short duration and then press the follow up. So for example. f*df, you do f, let go as a very short pause, then df.

Where’s the escape route?. People on twitter were mad at the xiaoyu jack matchup where she hits jack grounded with a fully charged hypnotist even though it’s been in Tekken over 7 years but with anyone else who chose to stay grounded it whiffs. This is cheap if there’s no escape route and he doesn’t need it. Even xiaoyu has escape routes with her strongest tech.
@@wisdomseeker0142 that one is matchup specific, and almost an easy win for Xiaoyu against Jack. I know one, but it is inconsistent. Will lab and see if I can find more and get back to you. :)
@@zangana3052 I spoke to joka and changbang and they didn’t care even after I showed that the setup was nerfed despite jack having more options to escape the unblockable with different combo routes even though you could in fact cover all his options of escape if you chose. Him being able to escape at all was impossible before Tekken 8. I always knew jack couldn’t escape as I covered this years ago but noticed he was given some opportunities to do so if I chose certain combo routes. If this setup hits all options with a launch including tech rolls it’s a cheap setup. Not even my strongest xiaoyu tech covers all options. I’ll be waiting .
@@wisdomseeker0142 you can hold forward to wake up, deal 4dmg and be +3, but if he only fully delays it to get the guard break. That is your escape. If not delayed, you take 25 dmg only, still, if not delayed you can tech roll and punish. In my own experience, sometimes risking holding back does miracles. They whiff completely and you can launch punish, the timing for the set up is a bit tough if they wake up with back. The reason you see it working in the video, is because I practice a lot against that wake up so I do not whiff. Not all Yoshi players do that practice.

@@skwadboss no, 14i is guaranteed any time you guard break. But, when they wake up like that, your gap becomes 15i or 16i based on how they wake up. So, yes, the Fubuki Knee is guaranteed. You can see the frame data at the beginning of the video.

Raven's jab hitbox is really fucked up, as is ff3; since tekken 5 it has always had inconsistencies, I will drink a lot when Namco fixes ff3 and jab hitbox (at least to some extent),l ots of evidences from the Raven clan through the years will pay off, my bro <3

FF3 (launcher) FF4, DB2 1, 4 1, BT 2,1 F1,2 T! Is max damage sequence. Max damage ender with no gimmicks is SZ 1+2, FF2. Max damage carry is SZ 1+2, FF4
@@HitokiriSingh thank you, I know that. My point was this is his optimal yet most inconsistent and which does nothing with execution. It just doesn't work at times.
@@zangana3052 absolutely that’s why I never use it in ranked. Either it drops or the qcf 1,2 gets eaten by latency. The one above is super consistent and will never drop with a slight delay on the F 1,2 T!

Man looking Raven’s prime optimal combo drop like that is pain 😭. But, on the bright side, we have other options. BT 2 jab getting its hitbox improved opened up great sub-optimal combo routes that were inconsistent as all hell before. Case in point, my staple combo from ff3 specifically is: FF3 > FF3 > (deep) FF4 > 4,1 > BT 2,1~F > (Qcf)1,2 T! into whatever ender. The damage is only a point less than the optimal ff3-jab-qcf1,2 T! combo filler route
@@YungKuroKami I personally go for that combo too. True, honestly was busy getting Xiao to GoD, then started Raven. So when started I guess BT 2 hitbox was already fixed haha

Not a good time. I've seen these issues since i started in season 3 T7, along with the db2 whiffing from point blank range. So they still did not fix the ff3 issues? Does the ff3 still juggle still not go in a straight line?
@@mecurialloki1980 it juggles fine, this is a severe issue with ff3 hitbox and his jab.
