The rad runner one is a lot cheaper than the plus - which one would you buy?
Hi David. I think they're both Awesome!! The Rad Runner plus only Huge advantage is the gears so you can shift down and peddle easier. But I'll tell you I have 2 original Radrunners and I do ride them more - they're a little shorter for easier loading in my truck and I'm just so used to the Original I love it. Hope that helps. I just like my green original for some reason and I leave that one at my camp. They're all Awesome, the green with the upgraded LCD and new top speed is just my go to right now. Thanks

Hey Chuck!
My eu version has only 250w and limited to 15.5mph. I increased the speed so it can top out at 20mph which is perfect for me. I can add an eggrider to increase the watts and torque but tbh I prefer more range.
Same here - more range is what I like also. Rarely go over 12ish. Someone had commented how fast on throttle Only so I did a quick video. Thanks for Watching and your comment. Chuck.

Hi@@CyberVixen - I just go through the set up menu on the MPH and it lets you in crease it. Up to 25mph on the Radrunner 1 and 28,mph on the Radrunner Plus. Thanks 😁
when doing that change with lcd screen, dose that mess anything up with the motor or motherboard?
I get about 28 mph on my Rad Runner Plus, but I changed the controller. I needed the tork for the hills I need to climb where ever I go. Our home is in northeastern California. Anyway it's good to see you riding again.

I cross this bridge alot on my rad runner one, i live in endicott and use this bridge to get to the rail trail to go to walmart.

Thanks Chuck! The bag will be perfect on mine. I’m getting a lot of miles on my green one. Your right, once I installed the new display I was able to get at least 5 mph. Here in South Jersey I’ve seen actually a couple guys riding Rads

Too bad they couldn't put it a little hitch on the back of the e-bike for a trailer cuz they got bike trailers out there that was rule like crazy in that way you can go bike riding and go camping at the same time on your bike on the trailer I seen you do it before

I like the bike. It's fun, it looks good, it's built to last, but it's slow. I use it on the beach and locally but it's too slow and uncomfortable for distance. It's a good bike for the $$ but there are faster, better bikes out there if you pay a little more.
I always liked the Rad Runner, but the one gear always bothered me, the 20 inch wheels really helps with the torque, should be able to climb most any hill. I live in Maine and we really have real hills here. Some of the hills are pretty steep. I have issues with my lower back pain, I use cannabis which keeps my back pain under control. I have been wanting to get the Runner, at this point not sure when, I think it would be the Runner, not the Plus model.
Both Great Ebikes!! For hill climbing the Plus Definitely does have a huge advantage because of the gears.
The Radrunner has 1 gear. What is the equivalent gear on the Radrunner +? Is it equal to 7th gear or less than that? Thanks!

I was going to gear up my RR1 but they used a motor body that only accepts a 1spd freewheel. Usually on hubs there is a threaded spacing so that you can install a 7spd freewheel. Very lame.
@Bryan Lawrence I’m thinking about that as well. The quality of the 3spd is quite low. The mechanism may fail or get quite sloppy in short time. White Industries makes a really nice 2spd version but not as low as 22t.and very expensive. 16/20 max. We have hill here. Big ones. I’m gearing the bike down for now. 50/17 instead of the stock 53/16.

I've been told if you have faded plastic that a heat gun can bring some shine to it. Otherwise you can try a buffing wheel and some plastic polish on a small test area and see if that works.
Does anyone know if when bought new these came with titles?
I believe they just came with Certificates of Origin
