OCULAR are a 5 piece jazz fusion band from the UK. Forming as a 4 piece back in late 2021, they began writing and recording music, developing a large catalogue of original music. Throughout 2022 they continued playing as a hobby, and as the end of the year approached, they set their sights on making it serious.

After releasing their first single “Aurora” back in January of 2023, they saw a growth in attention and quickly became a standout band in the local music scene. Throughout the year, they continued writing more music, and began gigging at local venues. In June of that year, OCULAR became a 5 piece, and with the addition of saxophone, they went on to record their self-produced debut album “PLANET OCULAR” which would later release in December of 2023.

They are looking to the future, to develop and progress the project to a wider audience, and to continue to break the sonic boundaries of what it means to be a jazz fusion band.
