What can I say, but that she LOVES THE AGILITY GAMES. She did another "thing" this weekend, first class of the day on Sunday. We got 1st place in our height class, time of 50.26, score of 10 points! I adore this little floof!!! 🎉🐾💝

I just LOVE running with this little girlie floof. Thankfully, competitors are allowed 3 attempts on weaves poles in this game. She gets it on her 3rd try! We got 1st place in our height group!!! 🎉🐾💝

My exuberant little girl always surprises me with so much fun! Although our weave poles are a work in progress, she usually seems to nail them on the 2nd attempt. (Competitors are allowed 3 attempts on weaves in T2B class). We squeaked by in 5th place and a time of 42.29. 🎉🐾💝

After a disappointing first few days of this trial, my sheltie and I pulled it all together on Sunday, to get our 7th leg of Master FAST. This was our first teeter in the "send", so I was a little nervous wondering how she would handle it. But my little confident girl along with my body and verbal queues got us the bonus send, and 72 points and FIRST PLACE in our group! 🎉🐾💝

A beautiful, sunny summer morning in Prunedale! My young Sheltie can't decide what side of the 2nd jump I'm asking her to take 😂. While on a recent dog sitting gig in Watsonville, California, the opportunity presented itself for me to take my girls for a much-needed walk and play on the beach in Moss Landing. It was exhilarating watching them run and play on the empty beach! Feeling blessed 🐾🥰🐾🥰🐾💝

The send was set near the center of the course and must be approached on one designated side only. This little floof is always full of fun surprises! Since our 4 month break, this is her first trial. On this run, she completes 12 weave poles on her first attempt 🎉🤸♀️🎉🤸♀️ (Handler and Dog are allotted 3 attempts in Time To Beat without a fault). We finished 2nd place on this run 🎀🏅🐾💕

Did anyone notice when the Aussie whined, Sheltie paused to make sure he was okay? The love of my heart ♥️ passed Last March by a hit and run driver. Still traumatized, but he gives me signals he’s with me. Shelties are so emotional and sensitive, intelligent- Best breed in the world. ❤ Looks like My Sweetie too
I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Oh my goodness 😢 The sheltie in this video is now 7 years old. She was barely three years old when I took this video. She is still just as playful. My australian Shepherd just passed away suddenly in April at 13 yrs old. I was unprepared to let him go. Much like you, I am with you on this grief journey. Your pup will always be with you. Yes the Sheltie breed is an amazing dog. They really can read your soul. ❤️🐾

Awwww, I am so very sorry for the loss of your sheltie, but happy this video made you smile. The Aussie in the video, was my heart pup. He just suddenly passed away in April, so my grief is still very raw as well. I find the very same laughter today as I did filming it in 2019. Thank you for sharing your comments 🥰🐾
My sheltie was so jealous of my mom's dog when we would go visit. He would put himself between us and her dog & growl at him if we showed any attention & affection to him. Even if we called his name, he'd come running, growing. He was so jealous, lol

My Aussie Jack, in the video, passed suddenly in April 2023. He had a massive seizure, which the vet could not stop. He was 13.5 yr old. He was my ❤️ dog. I loved him so dearly. Like you all, I cry so much missing that big floof. 😢 A piece of our hearts goes with our fur babies when they leave us. 💔 Thank you SO VERY MUCH for following my humble little channel with my doggies 🐕 ❤️
I have a sheltie crossed with an aussie. Wonderful, amazing, insane, hyper, floof of a dog. Also her best friend is a heeler mix and they play just like this!

Hi! The term "zoomie" relates to the moment a dog (or any animal) gets an uncontrollable urge to run and zip around, as if to entice a chase! It is pretty darn funny to watch this happen.

Aussie is not scratching. She is rolling her scent on the sock. It belongs to her. Period! My Aussie does this with everything hers. To include sticks, pinecombs, bones, toys, socks, etc. Lol

Should I get a mini American shepherd or a sheltie
It's a super tough question to answer. Both breeds are really fabulous in their own special way. Different intelligence and manners. Both are easy to train, super intuitive and have good protective instincts. My only suggestion, research each breed at AKC.org.
@@aussiesheltielife3653 Based off of your experience, which one of the two is a lot calmer. I do not mind an active dog because I like going on long jogs, but I do want a dog that is calm indoors.
@@burneracount8339 As long as each breed gets plenty of activity in a day, either dog should be calm indoors. I might say, that my Aussie may be a calmer pup. The Sheltie breed is known to have a more predominant bark trait. Again, my recommendation would be is to do the due diligence of research. They are both wonderful fur babies.
I have had two shelties, have a sheltie poodle now and a border collie. NONE of them cuddled. Anyone have a suggestion for a CUDDLY dog?
I wonder if Aussies look at Shelties and know they're both supposed to be sheepdogs. I had Border Collies that made more friends with my neighbours' Aussies faster than the Labs or Huskies.

I think it's becuase they have similar personalities, that's how they know. Their energy levels and demeanor are close matches. I have a Corgi and a MAS.
Yes I have a sheltie a German shepherd. And a Australian shepherd. They act like there from the same litter!lol they have the same mine set!! I never have to worry about them being together.
