It was Denver's GM's own stupidity to extend RW3 when he still has 2 full years left on his deal with Seattle, extend RW3 before RW3 even played a single snap in pre-season so nobody knew how good RW3 would be in a new Denver system ( he never did play a snap in the 2022 pre-season ). Had Paton not extended RW3's contract with an even bigger contract before he played even 4 games in 2022, and realized he made a huge mistake trading for him, they could have just let Russ play out the remaining 2 years and let him walk after the 2023 season is over. But because Paton had extended RW3 before he realized what a huge mistake that was, in fact doubling down a bad decision with an even worse decision, now Denver had no choice but to trade for Sean Payton from NO, giving up yet another 1st round pick just to see if Payton can resurrect RW3's career.
Russ is one of the all time greats. Top 25 greatest quarterbacks. I'd say Russ is still suffering from that interception in the Super Bowl versus New England. That interception set the tone for his slow motion downward spiral, in terms of not being a winner of big games and big moments anymore, along with the Seahawks, until he was traded to Denver. Had he only change the play calling from a passing to a running play at the one yard line against the Patriots, Seattle might have won at least one or two Super Bowls with that badass defense and productive offense. I would like to see him get another chance at a starting quarterback position somewhere. He's made his mark in the NFL. Ten years of production and a lifetime of highlights is more than enough to be a legend in the Pros. He made his money too. So all around, he's done pretty good. Nice job Russ!
Well, from what I saw many years after SB 49, it was RW3 who changed the play call from originally a run play for Beast Mode to that ill-fated pass play. You can tell RW3 audibled the ill-fated pass play call right before the snap because Marshawn went from standing behind RW3 to lining up on the side as a receiver as a decoy. I believe RW3 wanted to be the MVP of SB 49 so he knew if he threw a TD in the final seconds and Seattle won SB 49, he most likely would have been the MVP, but instead he threw that ill-fated pass that forever changed the Seahawks' history.
After that turn over at the 1 yard line at the superbowl he was not the same
Russell Wilson never won MVP in his career Misleading media lies Wilson 🔑 is a non-X pro Boulevard with 5X times he was selected as an alternate. He’s an overrated quarterback and has always been. Benefited from a good organization and a balanced offense allowing him to score easier in the red zone because defense don’t know what they’re going to do
Actually, the defenses knew what Seattle under Pete and RW3 were going to do, which was run, run, pass, and punt. The only thing unpredictable was where Russ was going to scramble and play backyard football.
Russell Wilson was a great QB before his injuries. Now, physically and mentally, he's not what he once was. Your time is up, Russ.
Russel the business man is 💸💸💰😂🥇🏆
He married a succubus! 😆
The dream is over. God bless! 😊
Come back to Seattle brudda 💯
GO HAWKS ❤
What are you talking about? Nobody wants RW3 back in Seattle, not John, Pete, Jody, or any of the former defensive players. RW3 basically forced himself out of Seattle for his own " legacy " and he left Seattle on very bad terms. RW3 is so washed up now that Seattle doesn't even want him back as Geno's backup on a minimum vet salary.
He said basketball!!! When icon he shows was baseball!!! Cmon man!! That’s clown stuff
Haha yeah i caught that after the fact, first video ill be better on the next. Thank you for watching though I appreciate it!
yeah I think he still has what it takes.. but not sure if anyone trusts him to try and prove it. Also I think Russell is really good at certain things and not so great at others. I think you need to tailor your offense around his strengths to be successful. You can't just expect him to go anywhere and fit right in..
RW3 is washed up, not even Seattle would bring him back on a vet minimum salary to back up Geno, that would be too awkward for everybody. Whatever RW3 was good at Father Time has caught up with him and now he's injury-prone. RW3 is so washed up that the Eagles, Jeffery Lurie and Howie Roseman who were once enamored with RW3 and would have drafted RW3 in 2012 in the 4th round if RW3 was still available and wanted to trade for RW3 ever since, instead opted to trade for Kenny Pickett instead of signing RW3 to Philly on a minimum vet deal. If RW3 was still any good the Eagles would have signed him on a vet minimum deal to back up Hurts.
He was never mvp, and he's riding the pine
pretty sure hes referring to him being an MVP candidate, which he was at one point in his career. Too bad we cant even see what he can do in Pittsburgh now
Nice!
Tua and Damar the most fragile things in the NFL collided not even Disney could write this
And Bridgewater and RG3
oh damnnnn 🏈
Tua is trash
Just subbed
The video is great btw
This is such a great video how do you only have 21 subscribers? I was your 21st sub by the way
@@lakechelan I appreciate it man, I am just starting out. Thank you for watching !
@@TheChampionChronicles01 your gonna go far on this platform, keep up the good work!
Bro legit played the 2011 playoff win vs the Saints instead of the 2013 one.
I just saw that and I was about to make the same comment. You would think the guy would realize he made a mistake when he saw Hasselback at QB instead of RW3, and the color of the uniforms were different also.
They could never make me hate you Wilson.
He's terrible!
@@jarlwhiterun7478if he’s terrible then we should petition to get rid of Troy Aikman out of the HOF because there’s no way in hell yall can see Troy be good and Russ be bad
But he passed the ball 🏈 Marshawn Lynch could of won them the super bowl Nice video 🫶
Could have*
Great Content! Cam Newtons downfall must be studied 😂
Not that Wilson isn't a decent QB, but he thrived in Carroll's system which fell apart because his ego got too big. A lock down defense, a solid RB and just move the chains to wear out the opposing D and eat up the clock is what Carroll's teams did best. Lots of his best games Wilson could throw for 200-250 yds. and they'd win 20-3 or 13-6. In their SB win they could have kicked three FG's and won 9-8. Seattle made the mistake of thinking Wilson was the only reason they won and then Denver got Brock Osweilered by shelling out millions for nothing.🤣
RW3's ego, or better yet his own stupidity not realizing how Pete utilized RW3 was what made him successful. There are reasons why Pete didn't let Russ cook because Pete knew that's not what made him successful, and Pete was finally vindicated when Seattle finally traded RW3 to Denver, and Russ hasn't been the same ever since. The only problem I had with Pete's offense was that it was too predictable, it was always run, run, pass and defenses knew what was coming. Pete's defense, although effective during the SB years, was too vanilla and straightforward, if Pete had mixed up his D, and disguised his D the way Belichick used his D, the Legion of Boom might have even been better than what it was.
Great video! How do i contact you.
Go Russell go Hawks
No, just Go Hawks now. Why would you want the Steelers to be good..... Unless! Somehow they trip all the way through the season and we get a rematch!🤔🤔🤔 Go Hawks!💚💙
Who ever you got to do that voice over is awesome! 😎😁
The best thing about basketball is the bat flips.
@@BrandKnewHandle Haha yeah I messed up there, frst video ill be better. Thanks for watching though.
@TheChampionChronicles01 Thank YOU for the content.
This doesn't really seem like a deep dive... more of a tertiary glance at some of his basic stats and a few basic story points and narratives, some of which are pretty inaccurate.
Sorry i should’ve worded it better, my first project i will work harder on the next go around. Thank you for watching though I appreciate it
Yup. A TV Guide recap. Nothing in here explains why the Broncos are willing to pay him That Much to go away. Why make a video about A then give No Details we couldn't look up ourselves if we wanted?
just subscribed! love how easy the video is to follow and understand. let’s go 🏈🏈
