55 Installing New Steel Braided Brake Hoses on the Suzuki Samurai
We were hoping that we will not need to replace the brake lines after our little lift, but they are just a bit too short.
It is better to be safe, so we replaced them with some that are way too long, before we rip them off.
ps the brakes still work.

54 Suzuki Samurai Adventure on the Wet Dog Trail
Просмотров 7766 месяцев назад
Join us on this little adventure, where if the smellovision was real, you would smell the wet dog, too. We thought it would be harder, but sometimes an easy ride is all you need. We also did not break the brake hoses. 53 Replacing the Fuel Pressure Regulator on the Suzuki Samurai
Просмотров 6376 месяцев назад
We tried to ignore the browning of the 'transparent' vacuum line that connects the fuel pressure regulator, until the moment we could barely start our Suzuki Samurai while it was warm. So after a long search trough the interwebz, we found the regulator that fits, and costs only 1/20 of the 'original Suzuki Samurai' one.. just because it does not say it is for a Suzuki Samurai. 51 Inspecting Old Engine Oil from the Suzuki Samurai
Просмотров 1677 месяцев назад
After the last oil change, we wanted to satisfy our curiosity and see what is our engine doing with all the metal shavings we put inside when we drilled out the bolts for the rocker arm shaft. It turns out, there were not that many shavings left, and the filter looked as it is suppose to. Just 30 more oil changes and we will clean the whole engine from sludge from the inside. patreon patreon.co...
50 Suzuki Samurai Oil Filter Upgrade
Просмотров 3597 месяцев назад
The first time we changed the oil in our Samurai, we were shocked how small the oil filter is. So we rectified that by getting closer to tractor size oil filters than car size oil filters. We put the biggest one that could fit. This also has a bonus of holding more oil, so we can just dump full 5l canister of oil in and not worry about measuring the 4.5l the engine usually holds. patreon patreo...
49 Suzuki Samurai Tailgate Storage Install

After a long discussion about shall we build a table on the rear door / tailgate, or shall we put some storage there, we concluded that the car is probably never going to be level enough to use the built in table. So we went with a storage option. With too much stainless steel of course. Because what will hold our car together when everything rusts but the parts we bolted on. Now we have an app...
48 Changing Suzuki Samurai Fuel Filter

Only 30 years too late, we finally changed the fuel filter on the Suzuki Samurai (with the 1.3l 8V EFI B13BA engine). Of course, every bolt that could brake, broke, so we had to deal with that too. Hello, I usually drive on very complicated and lonely roads and I think I trust my Suzuki samurai much more than you do, I only carry what I need to change a flat tire, a bottle of water and a sandwich. Anyway, congratulations for your videos, which are very interesting (At first I thought you were in the United States but now I think you are in Germany) Greetings from La Palma in the Canary Islands.

as you, we also go on very lonely roads with nobody. we also trust our samurai, but if something goes wrong or we brake something, i would prefer if we are able to get ourselves out and get home (because nobody else can go on trails we go anyway :)). we are not from the usa, but we are closer to you than you think :). more videos are on the way, a little bit of fixing, a little bit of modifying and roadtrips off course :).

i would say that this is one of the easier things to do, you just need the 'special' timing light.. they are 'special' because no one uses them anymore so they are hard to find.
