I don’t know that it was an intentional choice or not, but the moment he stopped praying when Daniel interrupted him, I immediately doubted this MF - he wasn’t true muslim or human at all. If that was intentional, it’s cool that they foreshadowed his true identity in such detail. If it’s not, then creators need to do better research before putting a scene into action 😁
