I met both of these gentlemen at the Snuffy Jenkins Music Festival back mid 80’s in Cliffside, NC. Both were friendly just regular people and glad to talk, especially Pappy! Amazing to see these, i only had two albums by them, one was "The Best Of" the other was "Watermelon Time". Snuffy is credited with inventing sincopated style. Its a true privelege to see these play. Both albums were on Roundr Records.
