Hey! My partner and I met you at a party down on the beach a few months ago. You and your friends were so sweet and fun. Anyway, your home is like a literal dream to us, I was wondering how much this cost you from the land to the build out. Cheers!

Glad I caught Zipolite for two winters, 1984-5 and 85-6. Sad to see it so developed now. Back then, the only really unique foreigner was Gloria, an amerikan ex-pat who began the "spiritual retreat", Gloria's, up on the side of a hill at the west end of the beach. I used to go there to get different refreshing drinks and to take a break from swimming and juggling in the hot sun on the beach below. Zipolite was so far off the beaten track then, yet I ran into someone from my New England, USA hometown my first winter there. Small world. In September 1987, in Quebec City, I separately ran into two different guys I had met earlier in Zipolite. Small world again. I was in Quebec to see the then-Soviet Moscow Circus. I don't think I would dig the vibe in Zipolite now. I'm certain I would meet many other jugglers there, most with no tan lines, some with natty dreads, tattoos, green hair, multiple piercings, septum bling, etc. "Drum circles" are probably a thing there, too. Brasil, now There's a place to Really live.

I took my very first trip to Zipolite five weeks ago, and I promise it won’t be my last visit! It was honestly one of the best trips I have taken in recent memory (and I do travel quite a bit), and I am already looking to return the same time next year. I even wrote a travel article about my naked adventures here! This video helps quite a bit because it gives me an idea of where I should eat and what to experience on my next trip. Thank you, Nick for the great ideas!😊

Zipolite is such a great unique place im surely coming back by summer for the second visit. Met so many amazing people that live in Zipolite I surely have to return. Hi im dean from Canada , im very curious to know approx costs to buy land there and how much your budget was to build all of this , luv that you making it solar powered and sustainable . Maybe you can give rough numbers on the monthly cost like water brought in in Zipolite . i admire how you tackle everything yourself . Be interested in knowing if one can survive down there long time on say a retirement income. I like that you truly embrace a simpler life and Zipolite sure seems to attract interesting people from all over the world . Maybe some drone videos of the area near you and explanation how far out you truly are from the main area of Zipolite . I watch a channel called Sailing Good, Bad and Ugly and they are building a homestead din the bush in Puerto Rico . Just thought you can maybe get some video ideas from there channel there very good at what they present LOL. I truly like watching your build of this property and how things happen each day you film . If you prefer not to give rough costs thats ok but what is your long term plan down there . Im an electrician and wondering if you are planning to get permanent power one day to your lot as back up or just stay solar . Keep on posting !
