aww thats getting past setup thats easy to do, you have to go through setup and hit screen reader and on one of the screens it says "skip button" thats not there but then you double tap to activate that button and by passes setting up the device so it doesn't do that anymore

also on that note, the device traffic can be intercepted by a proxy server running in python

@@sw7ft-tech Oh no, thankfully the set up I got through on day one thanks to the Reddit threads, it's after that where every so often it tries to "phone home" via wifi. It cant reach the servers and you get the 2 or 3 alerts a day and the little number for unread notifications. Everyone says it's impossible to get rid of so they just silence the alerts and set it to hide the notifications by posting it to a different place? I forget exactly, but I did what I could understand and then just turned off wifi for a while.

@@sw7ft-tech I ordered myself a Blackberry Classic cause i really like the design. Now my only worry is that how am i gonna make whatsapp work.I have iPhone 15 pro but i want keyboard experience ). so I want to swtich my communication to Blackberry. Are there working whatsapp apks for Classic ?

@@baddboo :) well i may have some for sale, i wonder if there is a demand to like pre configure all the apps etc and sell it pre configured, so users dont waste time setting them up

Yes i am working on it to make really easy :) right now on my Patreon i got it down to a simple command ran from term49 to install python3.11, I’ve built my task manager and app implementation script as well, it just takes time but ill keep working on it all The most useful part of this is we have python3.11 which is current and we have access to notifications, file system and more so we can build very effective applications, I’ve even built proxies that run local on the device. Ill keep your requests with docs to go in mind, i could rebuild that in a way

theres an app call Owlfiles for mac, its amazing you setup them up as SMB user: blackberry and whatever password your show for wifi file sharing

ya it might become main stream, it requires a lot of work including removing the emmc and installing a new one, very few are good at this. but in my oppinion, bb10 is more capable and there is a pretty cool development path to make it better, what apps do you want?

android 11 is being worked on but its not for every one, this here is android 5 really interesting, but apps can now be made on the device as we have access to python3.12
