My dad left when I was 8. My mom put herself through college. She helped me through college. We bought a condo. I’m old and living free. It took twenty years to become strong but we did it. Back then, there was no help.

Awww, Angela! I love this video! Your mom was obviously so great for you to have turned into the remarkable woman you are. I'm so glad the shelter was named in her honor and that you have been inspired to live a life of service to others. Your life will be rich because of it.
