If you’re getting the R6 mark 2 you need to get a fast lens to make the best of that insane shutter speed. The 50 1.2 has your name calling. However, it’s expensive and it’s a heavy lens so don’t skip biceps day. 😂
thank you!! this video is exactly what I needed to get started on photo mechanic!
You have the first like from me 🎉9[
Would love to see some photos you’ve taken with that lens!
Thank you so much for sharing.
Very good, but you went too fast. Hard to track.
So sorry! You can slow the speed in your settings on RUclips if that helps! 🙂

Good job. Thinking about switching over to Cloud Spot from my current photo gallery platform (Pic-Time) once my annual subscription expires in a few weeks, because Pic-Time ONLY allows you to upload JPG's on their platform, which are not good for photo prints.
💯
Great video. My question is , Does the printing company do editing for the pictures. Or do you have to do do it myself before uploading on to cloud spot
shouldnt you actually show some pics to demonstrate why
Photography educators. In
run run run
What speed light you use You use the 600 range ?
You getting the mark iv ?

Will a cannon RP be good for weddings ?
no, I HAVE IT and it's not enough :(
Hi I already have the lens 24-70, 35, 85, and 50 for my cannon RP can I use them if I buy a r6
As long as theycare on the rf mount
It depends on what lenses they are.
A huge shoutout to the video producer for demonstrating the innovative features that set Canon cameras apart.
Thanks!
Cant tether in Lightroom. Absolute dealbreaker.
Ooh interesting! I’ve never needed to. What do you shoot with?
@@katelynworkman If you ever decide to buy one of those fancy orange tether cables, I’ll save you hours and hours of research like I did. I can’t do it. 😂
I think you can tether to Lightroom Classic, but not Lightroom CC. At least, that's what I've heard. I think I even tried it once, though I don't really shoot tethered.
@@stevemadrid6522 thanks for sharing!!
@@stevemadrid6522 nope. You cant tether to either.
Another great reason to choose the R6 Mk2 is the *Electronic Shutter Mode* gives you shutter speeds up to 1/16000 sec, compared to the 1/8000 sec shutter of the original R6 (just like any DSLR). Very helpful to have 1/16000 sec shutter when you want to shoot wide open at f/1.2 in daylight. The R3 goes all the way up to 1/64000 sec, so you can shoot at f/1.2 in direct sunlight. The RF 28-70mm f/2L is an awesome lens, even though I still love shooting with two bodies, using the RF 35mm and 85mm lenses. Thanks for the posing guide!
Ooh love this thought!! I very rarely shoot in direct sunlight but that is great, thanks for sharing!
cant download presets ?
So true and they remember how you made them feel
Love your videos!
Thanks so much!

Hello there, You have some really good content on your RUclips channel, from what I could see, however, none of your videos seem to be search engine optimized. 1. A very poor SEO score of zero (out of 100) 2. No title, description, or tag optimization is present. 3. A social networking site where sharing is forbidden. 4. A video performance score of 0 out of 50. I have decided to carry out keyword research for your video, find ranking tags for it, and optimize your SEO description and tags to help you obtain more views and subscribers. Please, could you take a look? I am pleased to be of assistance to a content producer with your level of expertise.
R6 ii is your back up….?
I have switched now and LOVE the R6 ii!!! It was just a big adjustment and took me more time to love it than it should have haha but now I can’t imagine going back!
@@katelynworkman thank God!!!
I was about to ask the same thing 😅😅😅 thank good she switched
@@keanudlee i was horrified hearing her that her main is a DSLR and her back up is the R6ii.

I would suggest to get battery grip for R6 in order to use with heavy 28-70, weight distribution makes it easier on you as far as weight of the lens goes. I have same set up, and battery grip makes a world of difference.
Oohh so smart, thanks so much for the suggestion!!
yooo its a shame that you don't shooting from the viewfinder!!!
I’m shocked that I love shooting with the screen but it’s so nice!!
Why?
@@SShaBazzz probably because you can avoid having to move your face to the camera and be taken out of the moment you are trying to capture continually. I do the same now with my mirrorless as well as find it super easy to spot focus or track focus for moving subjects by tapping the screen. All possible with viewfinder but ergonomically much easier for me.
I have only just found your channel and I’m loving working my way through your videos. Please do make a video on your settings as I’ve just bought the R6ii. Thank you :)
Was this Hotel Morgan in Morgantown WV? I am originally from that area! I live in Georgia now and started doing wedding photography almost 3 years ago now 😊 I love your work!!
Yes!! We are about four hours from there but it’s easily one of our favorite venues from this year!! Thanks so much!!
I’m not a wedding photographer but I love your recommendations. Excellent advice for pretty much any niche of photography. I’m glad RUclips recommended your channel… I think I’ll make myself subscriber 631 😀👍🏽
Ahh thanks so much!!
Thank you so much for sharing! I just switched over to the R6 Mark II, and I feel a little lost editing compared to my 6D. Also, Lightroom tip that may make your life a little easier when you're wanting to see before and after edits. Instead of making a virtual copy and resetting, you can just hold the backslash key and it will show you before. Once you let go, it adds the edits back. OR you can push backslash key quickly and it will remove edits, push it again and it will reapply the edits you've made. 🙂
Ohh I’m so glad it was helpful!! Love that tip!!
Katelynn, what do you do when your client wants something retouched after they've seen their gallery? I just had a senior portrait Mom ask me if I could replace the movie titles on a marquee on a cinema portrait session I photographed. So if they want something retouched or artwork like that, do I do the work and of course charge a little more but then upload the newer version with the retouching/artwork?
Great question!! We don’t typically do edits like this, but occasionally we have had a client ask for a black and white photo. If it’s one that I can re-edit, I will just add to their gallery in a new folder! 😊
@@katelynworkman Katelyn, I've finally getting the hang of Cloudspot lol. It's take a while to get used to it. I'm sure there is lots more for me to learn though. My worse fear is messing up on permissions and someone getting way more than they paid for by downloading more images than they paid for. I'm super careful about turning off everything and I use watermarks. I love the watermarks feature it has saved me so much time. I make my clients select their images from a proof gallery, they don't get lots of images from me unless they pay for that session up front.
Does cloudspot prevent people from screen shooting their prints before they've paid?
I don’t think you can truly prevent people from screen-shotting with any gallery service, but there is a way to add a watermark- so you can do that for their proofs! We personally don’t use that model, we deliver all digital images for them included in their package. 😊
Hey, I just switched over to Cloudspot, and I would love to know more about the switching over past galleries over to CloudSpot. I would also love to know if you had any questions or comments from those clients after you switched over their galleries. I’m just super excited to jump all in to Cloudspot. I’m so happy that I found your RUclips channel to help guide me through.
Hiiii! I didn’t see the link for the styling mat.
Sorry here you go! amzn.to/3swdQRY
The only thing I don't think I would like about this is that it seams like there would be a lot of getting images ready on the front end, like it's not a proof gallery, it's a finished image gallery. How many images are you getting print ready for these galleries? All of them I guess? The way I'm doing my galleries is I upload them all to a gallery on my squarespace website and then they select their final images. I have a watermark on all the images.
Totally different business model! We don’t have clients select the final images- we just deliver all that we want them to have! But you could definitely use the same model with cloudspot and just upload with a watermark the same way that you do to square space. 😊
@@katelynworkman Thank you for your reply Katelyn. Do you mind me asking how many high resolution images they receive for what price/investment? I actually do this business model, for model portfolios. They receive 20 high resolution images for 450. There is someone in my town that is my top competitor for model portfolios and they give them 40 high res for the same price. I used to do the same and realized it wasn't sustainable to do so much for so little. I'm thinking about separating my commercial work and my portrait clients into two separate websites because I could see how portrait clients might be upset if they didn't receive near as many images, although, I don't have those numbers on my website.
I've been using Cloudspot galleries. There is definitely a learning curve lol. I love the look of the galleries though. Now I'm trying to create other galleries or folders for the same client. I don't know how but know that you can.
You can have the clients pick the images with hearts. They get an on screen counter to tell them what they've selected, and they can pick how many prints they want. Also instead of having the images sent to print you can set it to Self fulfillment and you will instead receive a list of what the client ordered and how many of each picture and size.
It’s just the fun that people want to see
P,ease stop the jumping into the air shot. Too 1990s.
We love the 90s
Cool

Thanks! Only... sleeveless photographer is... well, sort of yucky. Sorry, just my opinion from an older photographer. But, yes, black! And yes to looking professional! All the best on your channel!
Interesting, thanks for sharing that perspective!! Personally I like the tank style because I don’t have to worry about sweat- but I don’t think I’d do any thinner of a sleeve. But definitely something to think about!
Save the caviar!
I'm also on the hunt for a professional yet comfortable shoe!
It’s so hard!! I’ve heard good things about Rothy’s but haven’t tried yet!
@@katelynworkman I didn't care for them. They wore well for the first few hours but I felt they lacked support for all day wear.

Spider-Man 3
Love it! I’m not a photographer but this was fascinating to me 🤣
Hahaha yay!!!
