If you’re getting the R6 mark 2 you need to get a fast lens to make the best of that insane shutter speed. The 50 1.2 has your name calling. However, it’s expensive and it’s a heavy lens so don’t skip biceps day. 😂

Good job. Thinking about switching over to Cloud Spot from my current photo gallery platform (Pic-Time) once my annual subscription expires in a few weeks, because Pic-Time ONLY allows you to upload JPG's on their platform, which are not good for photo prints.

Another great reason to choose the R6 Mk2 is the *Electronic Shutter Mode* gives you shutter speeds up to 1/16000 sec, compared to the 1/8000 sec shutter of the original R6 (just like any DSLR). Very helpful to have 1/16000 sec shutter when you want to shoot wide open at f/1.2 in daylight. The R3 goes all the way up to 1/64000 sec, so you can shoot at f/1.2 in direct sunlight. The RF 28-70mm f/2L is an awesome lens, even though I still love shooting with two bodies, using the RF 35mm and 85mm lenses. Thanks for the posing guide!

I would suggest to get battery grip for R6 in order to use with heavy 28-70, weight distribution makes it easier on you as far as weight of the lens goes. I have same set up, and battery grip makes a world of difference.

Thank you so much for sharing! I just switched over to the R6 Mark II, and I feel a little lost editing compared to my 6D. Also, Lightroom tip that may make your life a little easier when you're wanting to see before and after edits. Instead of making a virtual copy and resetting, you can just hold the backslash key and it will show you before. Once you let go, it adds the edits back. OR you can push backslash key quickly and it will remove edits, push it again and it will reapply the edits you've made. 🙂

Katelynn, what do you do when your client wants something retouched after they've seen their gallery? I just had a senior portrait Mom ask me if I could replace the movie titles on a marquee on a cinema portrait session I photographed. So if they want something retouched or artwork like that, do I do the work and of course charge a little more but then upload the newer version with the retouching/artwork?

Does cloudspot prevent people from screen shooting their prints before they've paid?

The only thing I don't think I would like about this is that it seams like there would be a lot of getting images ready on the front end, like it's not a proof gallery, it's a finished image gallery. How many images are you getting print ready for these galleries? All of them I guess? The way I'm doing my galleries is I upload them all to a gallery on my squarespace website and then they select their final images. I have a watermark on all the images.
