Berserk had the plot, the music, the voice actors, if only it could’ve gotten a good animation

Probably the worst part is the fact that mothing melds. The soldiers and blood never mix, you have clean soldiers in a pool of blood, the Dragonslayer has blood *stains* but that's not really good. And Guts' cloak is just doing its own thing

Can’t stress enough how fitting my brother is as a theme for guts especially the start with the riffs

the fact that a lot of berserk fans still put up with the shitty animation and lowkey enjoyed this anime is a silent testament how epic guts is. even darksouls inspired by berserk

I really don't like the part where they wasted this OST over Farnesse and some random forgettable dude talking 💀

The cgi doesnt had to be a problem but this is bad cgi. They couldve just worked a littl ebit over character details, movements, shaders and effects

When music overshadow the anime in such way that you rather close eyes instead of watching.

I hate to be that guy but someone has to say it, the only thing bad about 2016-17 is the animation and (sometimes) the cinematography. Everything else is pretty good and I can’t help but appreciate it (the redux version at least)
