As someone on the spectrum I used to be obsessed with logo videos especially the scary ones

God, its seriously sad to see that something that was once regarded as unique and nice, to just being so downright horrible, all thanks to the unsupervised GD-loving kids. (Don't get me wrong, I like GD as a game, but the community absolutely makes my skin crawl so bad) I know I shouldn't even be mentioning this thing, but I need to. The "kill screen" has become a whole lot worse than you could possibly ever imagine. I'm not kidding. There's this whole kind of thing called "kIlL sCrEeN bUt ChArAcTeRs WaNtS tOo SeE tHaT" where people would take an already mediocre kill screen and make it worse by adding some lame characters from gen-alpha stuff such as alphabet lore or even TADC. They also contain some repetitive, unfunny stuff like "NiTrOgEn MoNoXiDe" or "WhY mY cOnSoLe Is TeRrIfYiNg NoW" with some garbage tiktok tts voice. I have a high fear that the kill screen genre from this point onwards will be considered brainrot. God damn these channels for making it a whole worse.

I'm autistic. I remember getting fascinated by logos after a now-unavailable video in Spanish about Spanish logos. And I did stumbled upon the logo community (I even had one friend who was making logos, and getting annoyed by the kids of the logo community. lol) and I do like to watch those since 1. I'm interested with graphic design. I love me some graphic design. Logos and especially idents. (which is complimented with my special interest in Animation) 2. I also love learning about history. Like television history, as well as seeing logos from other parts of the world. 3. Yeah. Those logos and idents can be stimulating for me, and I do like that. The colors, shapes, music, composition... I get that. 4. I do love watching those videos for drawing inspiration. I'm an artist and I love making characters. And recently I look at logo and ident videos for inspiration. Like in colors, shapes used, and even music. Along with my imagination (I remember making a Gijinka/Humanized Canal+ and TV3 Catalunya because I adore their logos and idents. And I'm planning to make more TV channel gijinka) I'm not in the logo community, though. I just like watching the logo history videos for entertainment and creative inspiration. But I know from my friend that the community can get... Annoying? I hope some of those kids at least get interested in stuff like graphic design or history (television or just multimedia history). Although, I do remember seeing a documentary of the "S of Doom" on Vimeo out of curiosity and... It was something. Although the whole "Scary logos" thing I don't get it, It reminds me of stories of Chilean kids getting scared of sign off idents (especially those of TVN or Televisión Nacional de Chile) Cheers.

omg i used to be one of those logo kids!!! i used to watch logo effects and davemadson all the time! i drew logos alot and it got so bad that everytime my mother got a cable ad in the mail i used to collect the logos and cut them out and play with them (thankfully i didnt record them)
