I'm an older guy now. 27. This perfectly captures growing up in the 00s and teens. Another comment already said it but, yeah, watching technology grow so rapidly into something that has such an influence on our everyday lives has been a wild ride. Back then we were so optimistic.
i have a feeling this is going to get huge from the algorithm
I don't relate to the 2003 guys, but this video does have the nostalgic vibe
The ambiance seems familiar.
Damn
Thanks for reminding me that comfort is relative and that home is ever changing
uncommon RUclips pull
nah bro this shit at least epic
Who else was born in 2003?
hey man this song is awesome can I add my own shitty vocals on this song and send it to you when im done :)
thanks! honestly feel free to take it and remix it, as long as you include a link you can repost it, i think anything transformative is always cool
Growing up in the early 2000s where the tech and feels of the 80-90s is fading and being rapidly changed to the ones we have today is such a feeling hard to capture but you managed to somehow
Never forget the past
yea
Man...
kinda wish this had vocals or lyrics or something (hell I might try putting some on myself) but either way this kinda shit makes me feel mortal thank you

Can you Dark by blue smiley 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hey man I want to get into guitar but right now I only have an acoustic one with me, would this song still sound good if I learned it on an acoustic guitar?
@@j2hel def acoustic would sound cool. Check out the album “blue smiley on the kane konundrum” it has a bunch of early acoustic versions of their songs. my favorite is ‘spring’, an early version of flower
I fw this heavy vro

Helll yeahhhhhh thank you bro
fuck yeah
this is majestic 🥹
This is fire
This is sick, thank you! Please do Control next?
another banger
do you think you could show how you get the tones for the blue smiley songs? i really love the sound but can’t quite figure it out
its usually compression -> light chorus -> light overdrive. This song in particular doesn't have any chorus or overdrive its just compression. I usually use the neck pickup and then increase the treble and lower the bass on the amp a little. Brian used a guitar with humbuckers so I don't sound exactly the same and from what I can tell he plays in the middle position, so both neck and bridge pickups on. The high distortion sounds are usually a big muff which comes before the chorus pedal
@@ask4624 thanks man! i put up a video of me trying to play using the tutorial and a couple times i tried building, im very impressed by how effortless you make playing it look hahaha
@@attemptingconclusion2935 cool man! if you're having trouble with some of the stretches you can play drop D and bar the bottom two strings for the power chords
how did you learn to reach your hands so far?
just practice really. it was definitely originally in a different tuning so it doesn't need to be played like this. Someone below mentioned it would be easier to play if you do it in drop D and bar the E and A strings
@@ask4624 thanks man
YESS
i love these videos
Thank you!🙏
you use a shell major secound with octave third voicing for the first chord
this is wrong but ok
what a useful comment this was
@@cordi2359 'time was when simply to imply that something else could be true was a sufficient rebuttal' - Hegel's Phenomenology Of Spirit (paraphrased) probs like chapter 7
love this, but I got a question. how are you going about skipping over C#, are you muting it or just straight up jumping over it (im pretty new to guitar so this may be a stupid question)
just realized i forgot to include it, im barring with my index finger so for example the first chord should really be 9 - 11 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 9. You can see the chord shape at the beginning.
what is that awesome distortion? love these vids, helps a lot!
big muff!
what an epic track by blue smiley, you merked it too
thank you my lovely fan i hope you make more music soon!
Sooo sick! Do you think you could do control?
perchance
I didn't know this song, it's actually very good
