Here's a quick test to show how much better these awesome Stedi T20 Reverse Lights are on the Suzuki Jimny. Obviously these are suitable for many different vehicles, but it's great to see a side by side of the standard lights vs the upgrade of Stedi LED power. We have these lights available on our website here - jimny.co.nz/products/1-000-lumen-t20-reverse-led-upgrade-pair

Any pick-up truck is so masculine especially the old American squarebody ones 💪🏼
Are they spot or flood or both?
Just to clear things up those razors are trash tyres offroad
What’s the length of jimny inside back seat?
My Jimny is even more stock so far.. looks like from your video I'd be quite okay with the factory pizza cutter tyres. Actually I drove through in my old Delica Starwagon about 22years ago.
Awesome video bro! epiiiiiccc
@@kinggts25 thanks brah!!!

Awesome track. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful video.

Thanks much for this !

I've fitted a JBL subwoofer in mine under the passenger seat make a massive difference.
Totally addictive. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Waitahu
Yeah that’s the one!! We’re heading back in next month to try get up into Montgomerie Hut
@@jimnynz1521Did you get to the hut mate? Hard to believe we used to get a Datsun 120y to within a couple of Ks of the hut 😂 In the 1990s.
thanks for sharing!
Great content 👍 Are the fenders wider than the stock fenders on the JB74? Where have you bought these? Merry Christmas from Scandinavia
Hello and merry Christmas from New Zealand! Yes these are wider than factory flares, we’ve had them made and we sell them here. Thanks!
I want to bought this car...support me please
I have this jimny on 1/12 to 1/64 scale Support me please to bought real jimny
Any rattling during offroad drive?
Figure that motor can handle boost long term?
Yip it's been almost 2 years now, the oil is still running clear. The Link computer will pick up any issues. Regular servicing and sensible driving should mean it lasts a long time - here's hoping!
@jimnynz1521 Nice. Just moved to Mexico, they sell these things here kinda cool but under powered. Certainly an option to think about lol
This little 4x4 is awesome. So is having such a training day!
Looks great Adam we need one of those up here in Auckland
It actually could be arranged, that’s a good idea!!
Hey Adam, it would be great if it could be arranged. I'd be in. Auckland Off Road Adventure Park at Woodhill Forest is a great venue for this sort of thing.
That’s mean azzzzz bru
who was the silly bugger doing the recovery pull off the top of the bullbar,(NEC304)...... naughty naughty, there are the recovery points below, even the factory tie down points will take the strain
That was the calculated risk, it was my call, I was towing. There are no recovery points on this bar, and the ones I sell won't fit with this bar. Using the factory tiedown points is potentially lethal, never an option. The worst thing that could happen when we do it this way is exactly what happened. I'd rather the bumper moved instead of a flying tiedown missile any day of the week.
I would have gone on the tie-down points, I have winched off them before.(using a tirfor..before fitting ARB bar & winch)..on saying that I don't use the 'snatch' type recovery. @@jimnynz1521
Some nice trails for sure, looks amazing
Such a great spot, lots of trails to choose from!
Awesome video Man really enjoyed it unfortunately it was a bit too short just getting really into it then just realised it finished. Looks like there is some great tracks down in the South Island probably better than what we have up here in the north Island. Must go down there one of these days. Hopefully we get to see some more 4wd videos soon
Thanks!! Yeah we should of got a lot more footage, but we'll be back to do it all again! Will get more videos like this on our trips!
Air down first and he would have made it first attempt
Air filter bigger than turbo lol
Thats a 1.5l engine, big turbo won't make boost & turbo lag would be huge as the exhaust pressure is not much from such small engine..
@@KuntalGhosh correct brother I was just kidding 😂😂😂😂
I remember that trip! ;-)
Susuki VVT is a kind of VTEC?
VVT is the standard. VTEC is honda version of VVT.
tough climb!
Ha, I tried doing it as slow as I could, but that was never going to work. Have moved to better tyres now, would love to try again under the same circumstances
Turbo or supercharger, which one perform better for off road use ?
Not sure sorry, I haven't trips a supercharger kit yet
Supercharger for off road always.....boost is instant...no matter rpm...
super is definitly better for offroad as it gives the boost from very low rpm, where turbo comes into play in the mid rpm's. But supercharger is much more expensive, and less fuel efficient.
I might just remember that! ;-)
Man that was a FANTASTIC trip!!!
Hi, great set up, would you mind telling us your wheel set up? Tire size, rim size plus width and offset? Any suspension lift? Thanks
Nice rig and cool video! :) Is that some kind of ladder you have bolted on the back door hinges ? Thanks
Yeah man this one here jimny.co.nz/products/tailgate-hinge-ladder
@@jimnynz1521 Looks great. Thanks 🙂
Wat kost die aanpassing een turbo erop
Power gains?
One mean truck
Wait ... 162Hp on the Wheels means about 200Hp at the Clutch?
Yeah correct
What type of turbo?
I wonder if the tranny able to mannage the extra ponies
Any issues with the custom snorkel and turbo setup regarding airflow or deep water holes? Moved to the Philippines and Jimnys are everywhere but mostly stay stock or go 2-3 inch lift with no bigger than 29 tires. Honestly your set up I believe is the nicest looking without going crazy . Thanks for the uploads it gives some of us ideas and also encouragement to push a bit further for practical use. I love overlanding here and camping in a smaller rig is just so much easier I really love it.
