Welcome to Dori Drives!
On this channel, I try to go beyond the objectives of cars, focusing more on their apparent natures; to me, that's what makes them so alluring. By tying cars in with their market's histories and demonstrating their evolution, my goal is to provide a fresh look at the machines that bind us.

1997 Mitsubishi Bravo - Dori Drives
One of the lesser-known premium kei vans, the Bravo is a delightfully funky - and surprisingly compelling - practical little guy.
Struggled a bit with the pacing on this one - feedback is definitely welcome and appreciated. Thx ^^

1988 Ford F-150 - Dori Drives
Просмотров 1 тыс.5 месяцев назад
For decades, the Ford F-150 has been the king of the American pickup segment, becoming the country's best-selling vehicle, full stop. The 1988 model represents the truck's transition from bare-bones utility to sophistication and a jack-of-all-trades ethos, and it's an important step to observe when you look at the F-150's history. #ford #f150 #car #review
1995 Toyota Sera - Dori Drives

A deceptively simple bubbly masterpiece, Toyota's compact Sera is quite possibly one of the greatest JDM dailies ever produced. #toyota #review #cars #car #sera
1986 Toyota Celica GTS - Dori Drives
Просмотров 7 тыс.Год назад
A sporty little cloud. From its introduction at the beginning of the oil crisis to its untimely demise in the mid 2000's, the Celica nameplate adorned Toyota's most technologically advanced, sharply-honed sports cars. The fourth generation model, released in 1986, has all the strengths of an 80's performance car with few of the drawbacks. On Dorito Reviews, I try to go beyond the objective stat...
2008 Honda Pilot - Dori Drives

In memory of the greatest box ever made. (RIP) Introduced in 2003, the Pilot is a do-it-all crossover with attractive practicality, impressive packaging and contemporary style. It'll do basically whatever you want it to.
great... now i want one
They're honestly well worth considering, especially in this spec with the turbo-4. Not too expensive either
I currently have a 86 GT-S in the coupe & red interior, and I absolutely adore it! There is something considerably off when it comes to acceleration with mine, though, it may be the 4 speed auto, or something else.
cool thing! i thought this is a well subscribed channel 🎉 good information
You're back!
Hey, thanks so much for your support! It truly means the world to me. I just started college and I've got a backlog of 4 more videos to edit, so stay tuned! - Dori
I'll go ahead and insert "I had an 86 GTS!" here. Champagne with red leather.
Loving my 90 XLT Lariat. 351W/E4OD Definitely miss my 93, though... 302/5spd
My first truck in high school was a 1990 F-150 XLT with the 302 V8 and it felt just fine at highway speeds, living in Texas our speed limits are usually 70 to 75 mph but that just means everyone's usually going 80+. That old F-150 felt just fine cruising along at 80mph. Conversely though, I had a friend who had an 87 F-150 that was nearly identical to my truck except his had 3-Speed auto to my trucks overdrive 4-Speed. His truck at 70 or 80 mph sounded like it was going to blow up due to the lack of an overdrive gear, my truck would shift into fourth and just lope along like nothing. Great trucks! Wish I still had that old 1990, but I do drive a modern F-150 with the modern 5.0L Coyote V8 today.
Great video, and a great car. Love your style of reviewing short, simple, and straight to the point without lingering on one topic for to long. Such a cool and unique car!
Regret selling my 87 F150 20-something years ago. It was just a basic thing, the Big 6 with automatic, basic interior, basic trim but I did have a sliding rear window! That was a good hard working machine. I wasn't in a good frame of mind at the time I sold it (head injury from a motorcycle accident) and I just decided I didn't need a truck anymore and sold it for a dumb low price. Oh I kick myself so much for doing that
This showed up on my front page and is crazy. My mother bought this exact spec, white GT-S hatch with blue interior and sunroof, new in 86. It had the strangest quirk which would unleash a very unpleasant rotten egg smell randomly on upshifts.
My dad had one of these it was auto though I learned how to drive on it and fell in love with Japanese cars after. Then I bought my first car a 1990 300zx NA lol
My 2004 Pilot my dad bought back in 2012 when I was a kid and now I drove it daily and has had no problems.
The aux plug is on the back of the radio!!
Where?
This is a first generation Honda pilot
It's 1.5 gen, first gen is 03-05 and then 06-08 (1.5)
the aux is in the back of the front seat arm rest
Very good job young man nice video
Awesome review for a 2000's OG SUV!
I bought a 2008 in 2021 for $5,000----What a great car..I just put Uniroyal tires on it and will drive it for the next 10 years...Gotta love this model and year....I have had Corvetets, Pantera, Ford Edge, chevelles, V.W, Cadillac and others---This car is built!
They really are great do-it-all cars!
Japanese reliability
whats the song in the beginning called?
funny funk - jussi halme
Ok you made me buy one
Great video, very well reviewed. I have an ST182 GT-i and I love every bit of that car. 61'000 kilometres, Gen.II 3S-GE, 156HP, 186 N/m of torque. The second gen. motor has ACIS, a further developement of T-VIS, and the same mid range RPM fun. It's an unbelievably addictive car to drive. I've been owning her for a year and I still cannot get enough of it.
For a time I wanted this to be my car, still is one of my favorite muscle cars of all time. Every time I see one I get giddy and excited lol. Great video, I hope to see more!
you made the 4 toughest mini car reviews then dipped out surely make a return
i’ll be back bro, i’m focused on school rn but i’ve filmed four more videos i have to edit and publish ✌️
This video deserves more recognition, great editing, great voiceover, and you even know what you’re talking about lol
I was looking at one recently after seeing the pricing of 86’s going up and getting harder to find I finally gave up because of how overpriced they’ve become and how well documented they have been I found a at160 celica and decided to take a look haven’t found a lot of info of people working on them and it does have its benefits so I might just buy that over the 86 plus I do love me a good lift back
Can't recommend one of these enough, they're well deserving of all the attention. Definitely try and grab one before they get too out of hand
Bitchin' Camaro!! I'm a 52 year old man and I luv mine. Put a 650 Edelbrock carburetor, headers and Flowmaster exhaust on it and it will make almost 185 hp. Not amazing, but still fun. 😎
Excellent video intro 😂
great video! picking a 1986 GT-S this weekend for $500, running and driving! planning on restoring, and this video made me even more anxious to do so! :)))
Did you get it? How is it going so far?
I have an 05 and it’s awesome!
Love em, wait till you ride in an LS swapped 3rd Gen, makes the car what Chevy SHOULD have sold. Virtually solves the real problem HP.
Fantastic video! I bought my 2007 Pilot in late 2006. I absolutely love it! Money well spent.
*promosm*
Third gen for the win lol. Miss my 1984 z28. I'm in VA also so cool video
Never heard or seen this kind of car before til you made a video on it! It sure is a neat little ol thing
