I know this interview was posted a while ago. The teacher in question wasn't saying it was wrong for her students to change how they identify, but how long was too long for her to adjust to addressing them correctly 😊

Really liked this interview! I have always been a fan of Rosie O’Donnell. Admittedly I don’t always agree with some of her views and she probably wouldn’t agree with all of mine either lol however that doesn’t mean I’m not a fan. I’ve always found her hilarious, loved her in movies I’ve seen her in, and her heart for helping others has always been evident and I admire how she is authentic, with a big heart, and gives credit where credit is due. I totally admire her dedication to motherhood and putting her kids first and she’s a good mom. I think her own mom would be proud of the good mom she is. I always wanted to be a mom too and like Rosie put my career on hold to be a full time mom too. (Disclaimer I’m nowhere near an accomplished career woman like she is lol. Though I love being a teacher, I won’t have the financial success she has. lol) .anyway great interview!

The question about the dog : I can't believe it. It's just a fucking dog. People are more important than dogs. I know now it's the opposite in society, animals have more rights and compassion than human beings nowadays. But it's a fucking mistake. If you want to find a cause to show off how humane you are, try homelessness, old people, sick people, women and children victim of violence, racism, etc.

Her columns on life, love, and marriage were carried by newspapers everywhere. One of her most famous columns covered her ten "Dictates for a Happy Life." She was also the author of "How to Win and Hold a Husband," "Hearts A La Mode," and "Fables of the Elite."

Last year I got my 2nd only request to be a juror. My first one was when I was 35, and I got my boss to write an excuse to get me out of it. I worked for a very small company and there was me, my boss and one part time employee. We all needed to be at work, every day. Back then in the 1980s, it wasn't a big deal to getting out of jury duty. In 2022, I got another jury summons, and this modern one explained there was very few ways to getting out of it. You can't just throw them away,....that is against the law and you can be fined and even jailed, for refusing to participate. That was scaring me,....and by 2022,...I was now retired, and handicapped. I have to get myself places as I struggle to walk with a walking brace,....a simpler version of a rolling walker. Many handicapped people have an entourage,....like many helpers. Someone to open the doors, help them navigate steps and ramps, doorways, etc. I do not have a team of helpers. I operate all by my self. I had to request from my primary doctor an official excuse to get out of jury duty. The paperwork suggested, I could be denied, even with a doctors note. There was a special number I needed to call and a very limited time the phone lines were operative, to leave a formal note explaining how my handicap, would make my attending jury duty, be extremely stressful on me. I would be harmed by a jail sentence and a steep fine, for ignoring a jury duty summons. It's madness that they can jail and fine a person for refusing to be a juror. Times are bad, and most people do not want to be jurors. Even though they pay a few bucks, for your time. I have met a lot of older retired people who enjoy being jurors. But then again they are not handicapped, as I am. You get like something around $25.00 a day for your services, and paid parking. Besides being partially crippled, I have bladder issues, so that would have been an added layer of anxiety. A friend of mine was a juror for a murder trial that took weeks, to arrive at a verdict. He had to stay in a hotel with the other jurors, for a couple of weeks. That is too fucked up.

The "high wheeler" or Penny-farthing, were invented around 1870. I find it weird that is seems so primitive, considering, by 1840, steam engines were being employed for locomotives, and they were complex machines, and very sophisticated, mechanically.

The Dwight character was so hilarious and a constant pain in the ass, within that "office", he was the ultimate suck-up,...the writing for that character was very rich. I'm not sure anyone person could possess that much ass-hole-ness. I still laugh just remembering some of the stupid things he did,....( his character did).

11/2/23.........Hilarious!.........My opinion: You can't un-invite guests to a wedding,...however you could change your mind based on a budget you can't meet. You can tell the newly uninvited you just can't afford 300 guests. Or a tricky way to get them drop out, is to change the venue to a far-away location, that requires an expensive air plane ticket at their own expense. There must be some people who can be bumped,....that won't damage your friendships.

I'm not real healthy,...and I suffered with depression and anxiety, since I was 10 years old. By age 65, I was becoming crippled. I have a terrible hand tremor. (not Parkinsons). My spine is messed up, and I'm in chronic pain for more than 15 years. All back pain related. My doctors refuse to prescribe anything to give me some relief. Drugs that could help are addictive. I've heard heroin is helpful. But it is illegal, and super addictive.
