ras le bol de ce morceau!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Andrea, at the time of this film there was no tin plague on the front pipes, and I have not heard any reports about problems of that kind.
Tin plague on the front pipes 😟🤔
A riveting lecture, though it was hard to concentrate on what he was saying once the gigue fugue began in the background! What an organ, and what a privilege to hear it.
At 08:00 there a qourter tone ( 1/4 tone) similar to the one we use in arabic musical modes , it was intresting to hear !
Why would anyone want to buy a new organ if they had a chance to buy a used Schnitger, especially one that was "used" by Bach and Buxtehude?
Interesting information. Thanks for posting
The sound of that 4' Principal is to die for. Thanks for sharing!
I first learned about these wonderful Schnitger organs way back in the 1960s with the late E. Power Biggs’ 2-LP set “The Golden Age of the Organ”. The booklet had great black & white photos but now to see and hear the Cappel instrument with today’s video technology is a real treat. Thank you!
me too!
Thank you very much !
Fantastic!
