Zark! RIP
E.L. he's the man! Will always miss the dude! RKB
Man - no band could fuck with the Paladins in their prime- Dave was Eddie Cochran meets Stevie Ray Vaughan - seen them 11 times, they always brought the heat! Love them.
They must have been young. where is Moke?
Bob is going to be missed. They were on of the great country recording and writing groups to come out of Pgh. Miss you Bob.
Definite Hollywood Fats vibes in that Hideaway take.
Sasha, my old neighbor and friend. So cool to watch your video of Scott and Shook doin their thing!! George GT Mitchell
Top notch..
Used to watch these guys a lot. There wasn't a bad apple in that bunch. What a fine group of musicians.
Goodtimes❤
Loved playing in these dive bars and clubs back in the late 70's thru the 80's and well into the 90's and then they all started disappearing around where I live. Safety in numbers in the inner cities still did OK but the DUI laws killed the old roadhouses flipped to weekend concert halls. So many night walking out and loading gear troopers would be sitting in the damn lots on the ones on the state routes, You know the old truck stops that were replaced by the new ones on the interstate system. they were trying to survive as grub hubs in the day and bars at night.
No comments!?! This is absolutely golden!
Oh no you didn’t! But you did! This is absolutely gold!!
Yeah, oh hell yeah! Light it up!
I was into them back then and still am now. Good Lord, this takes me back. And makes me want to go back!! LETS GO!!
What a great voice and soulful player and singer!

THA' BEST IN THE "" business '" !!!! #1
Thanks for posting!!!!
Thank you Sasha. They were the greatest
I think my lawyer's in the front row
Bob and Dave were staff songwriters with Mel Tillis in the early-mid 80's, as I was too. I learned SO much from these guys... who had several well deserved hits with other major acts (Alabama, Don Williams among many others). RIP Bob... your pal, ws
Much appreciated from tons of folks up here in Western Mass. caught JCC and the band many times Great people and incredible music. Thanks dude!!! 🙏
James was a treasure. Pure heart, soul, and BLUES. The highest compliment i can give him is that he was the Sonny Boy Williamson of my generation!
😈 !!!!!!....
But(t) Lovin'.....best!!
Love it!!!!!
RIP Sasha..... ya done good
still SENDS me
I can't believe this! Thank you so much for posting! Blew my mind! This is so near and dear to my heart. Robbie Eason on Guitar, Lee Campbell on drums, and yours truly Joey Jazdzewski on bass. There isn't much video out there from this era... I played with Harman for 6 years. So sad he is gone... Robbie and I joined his band straight out of high school, joining James's band was like getting my masters degree in the blues. Man, brotha' you just sent me tripping down memory lane.
i'm a big fan of your work for years, sir. The video 'igot news for you' (where you're also stylin' for eternity) hit me hard. Fantastic groove. All the best. Cheers from france.
🖤 Cheers, and thank you baby! As James would have said :) @@slimfastfret
Wow so cool you have played with icepick, and my favorite years of James Harman band Recordings I was fortunate to book him and arrange a pickup at the airport in a 60’s Chrysler with 727 Torque flight he really enjoyed it and talked about his drag racing years
I remember Joey ❤
Mis you and beautiful voices/ never be the same with our you ..Rip jmarie❤
I was at studio cafe in Santa Rosa Cal 1990. ,,what a show !
I wish I could have been there. The Decade was a legend in Pittsburgh.
Pookie Hudson was the best lead singer of all the doo wop groups.❤
Born in 1944 he is 47 years old here. Looks a LOT OLDER!
Big Dave and Groove Spoon, two of my favorite bands from the early and mid 90's at The Blind Pig.
Love that cool cat 😎 Thank you!
Ril Darren Benitez
I totally love Anthony. He is one of the best in the world.
Badass
I met Al Snyder on July 17th, 1980. "I'm in a band," he told me. Changed my life! We became good friends. I was lucky enough to see so many Corbin/Hanner performances. I was so sad when Dave Freeland left the band. Then Bob left, then came back, then Kip left. Curt was a good replacement! I miss those concert nights! The 4th of July is coming up, and shouldn't we be going to a concert in Ford City? 😅 I have so many wonderful memories of this band. Thank you to each and every one of you, especially Al! ❤️
Mr. Byrd!
The master blaster! I love you Eddie! RIP.......my friend!
Hi Max
Very Authentic… great playing and singing. R.I.P. Smokin Joe Bisceglia.💔
Bird was the man Warren fucking right.
Great seeing my old friend Stan Mixon playing the bass... grew up together in the old neighborhood by 707 ✌🏽
Frank, what were you thinking?
While I have several of Roots albums, I am not savvy with his entire catalogue...so having said that, can someone tell me the name of the last tune here after "I Want It Now"?
