Chaka Khan fronted the group Rufus but she was always the star. Beautiful, vivacious, sexy, exciting and could move on that stage like an olympic champion. It was just a matter of time that she had to go on her own as a solo artist. That said, her time with Rufus is still a great memory and collection of hits.
