Ernest Saves Christmas will be a fun watch in December! I feel you the Ernest Scared Stupid and Ernest Goes to Camp covers are great. I love the positivity and optimism with his character. It helps you feel good and stay motivated.

@@Ea3Reviews I think my follow-up may be in spam because of a link. I had put a link to this site showing the VHS art -- it's great. The back has mainly a synopsis -- again very book-like. Very simple but cool and cohesive design. The first movie went to VHS in 2000 and DVD in 2002. And I think the part of the cover with the people in shadows reminded me of Halloween III's cover!

Yea your comment must have gotten removed. Is the VHS cover the one that's kind of orange? If so that one is dope. I didn't see the Halloween 3 connection, but you are right. The OG camp blood cover is sick. I kinda like the backyard movie vibe of the film. In my opinion you don't need resources or skills. If you have passion and hard work, you can make something memorable.

@@Ea3Reviews Ugh I had to look up the orange one. I love it even more. The drop shadow behind the logo is tighter and I like how the orange compliments the clown's hair. It kind of transitions to a swampy yellow/green in the distance and I like that too. You can see the VHS scans if you search for "camp blood VHS" and find the result from VHS Collector. I absolutely adore nice scans with their neutral look and showing actual textures and wear. Nostalgia trip! I see there is an animated Camp Blood X from 2023. Be warned if you're brave enough to watch the trailer. It's... something...

Yea the orange cover is beautiful. I gotta look up the VHS cover. Low key a lot of VHS tapes have better covers than DVDs. I watched that animated trailer haha. To be honest I don't think that's an actual sequel.

Yea it's a shame they didn't bring him back. I read that the studio only let Don Coscarelli bring one of the leads back. I thought James LeGross was good though and I'm glad Reggie was back. I thought it was a good sequel also. It wasn't as iconic as the first, but it was bigger scale and had a ton of awesome moments.

I agree the first Hostel is better but I still like part 2. That's a hard question but for now I'm gonna say my favorite horror protagonist is Rachael in Halloween 4.

I might review it eventually but I've mainly been reviewing movies. I will for sure review the Child's Play/Chucky movies eventually though.

I think the some of the seniors were hazing the freshman too much. That paddle looked like it hurt so bad.

I watched it on Tubi as well haha Tubi is my favorite streaming service. I'm glad you liked the gum hack story I feel like a lot of people wouldn't catch that unless they wrestled. @@Ea3Reviews Tubi is the best I've caught up on so many movie's I've missed or couldn't remember the title. That little detail is important and shows how deep the director and writer's put into the authenticity of the story. I'll keep watching it takes alot to put yourself out there I couldn't do it but your getting better keep rolling brother.

Yea I didn't notice all the little details the first time I watched this the filmmakers definitely did their homework.
