Just to clarify... the USA women won the SILVER medal in their loss to Italy in the gold medal match. This is the semi-finals. Brazil earned the bronze medal by defeating Türkiye.

Поздравляю Бразилию, (особо хочу отметить Габи - мотор команды), хотя я и надеялся на победу Турции. Надежда была, но реальных шансов было мало. К сожалению Сантарелли ничего не изменил в игре команды после VNL. Команда играет медленно, нет наигранных комбинаций, вся надежда на мощь Варгас, у которой силы не хватает, чтобы играть за всю команду. Почему Сантарелли не перевел Каракурт на позицию диагональной, чтобы давать Варгас хотя бы кратковременный отдых? На позиции доигровщицы и так достаточно игроков - Баладин (хотя ее игра не вызывает положительных эмоций), Дерья, Ивегин (Тугба). Практически не было игры первым темпом, не было эффективного блока. Про прием подачи я вообще молчу - если нет приема, то и эффективную атаку организовать трудно. Проблемы с доигровкой практически во всех матчах. Так что результат закономерен.

Stati Uniti molto al di sotto (me li ricordavo sì in difficoltà nella VNL, ma era un’altra squadra, il rischio con questa formazione di trovare un avversario ostico era in realtà concretissimo…) , ma questo è grande merito dell’Italia e non demerito USA, sia ben chiaro, l’Italia ha fatto la partita “perfetta” su tutti i fondamentali con tutte le giocatrici su tutti i fronti: grandiose! Inutile commentare le singole prestazioni e la partita: parla da sé…

Turkey u have no variation of plays. Very basic volleyball. Vargas need help. Every body must undergo training in reception. First ball is the key to a great play.
