Have you ever thought of finding a job in the music industry, but worried that you should rather try to find a ‘real job’, something else to make a living? We believe you can do both. The music industry needs skills in many different fields from data science, coding, accounting and law to fashion, marketing, e-sports and social media. Music Publishing is all about the business of songwriting and composing. Whenever you hear music, a music publisher was probably involved somewhere along the way.
Inspired by Mandela Day, the team at Universal Music Publishing South Africa have filmed 5 episodes on Music Publishing to inspire South African youth to consider a career in music.
