THIS IS IT! The one you've been waiting for! The basic rec 709 conversion, the "cell phone look". This is the look we've all come to know and love, mostly because it's the one we use all the time.

In this episode, freelance colorist Aaron Kessler explains his unique twelve "dye" system called "Chróma Déous" for achieving a richer, more painterly look. This episode was colored with the latest version of the Chróma Déous system.

Can life’s tragedies create empathy?

A short reel featuring my "Chróma Déous" look. This is a stylized, painterly look which features a richness and density across a wide range of hues. The mechanics are a twelve "dye" or "primary" system that features a dedicated dye for skin tones. Contrast and saturation may be changed to taste. Filmic textures may also be added.

Featuring my "Sweet Rec 709" look. For when both natural colors and richness of color are desired.
