I was on the streets for awhile.. ran into a genuine good fella at a gas station one day .. asked me if I would do a hard labor job for a week in the Arizona heat and he'd "pay me good".. I had nothing to lose .. I thought I would literally die in that Sun .. at the end of the week he GAVE ME a nice Ford minivan that I could sleep in for awhile and he kept me on as a cabinet makers apprentice.. I fell into "using" again and he got me some help but he never judged me .. fast forward .. I cleaned up Completely before my dear Father became ill and after years of disappointing him, he INVITED me to move back home and take him back n forth to all the cancer treatments .. I finally found a girl whom I know I've found True Love with, she loves me for who I am and rarely ever brings up my past Because she says it makes her feel so sad that I put myself through so much hurt and humiliation .. I then found a profession that I wanted to be a part of and my lady helped me get established in that profession .. but not before not before my dear Father passed away 😭 I desperately wanted him to See me make something of myself before he flew away .. 😢 .. but today, after this long, strange trip, at 66 years young, I have sought out and found every person I ever hurt or disappointed and have asked for their forgiveness .. I'm completely clean, I have lost 150lbs, go to the gym 3-4 nights a week and I got my License as an Insurance Agent/Broker helping people build a financial estate with tax-free retirement strategies that I can only Dream that I knew about 30 years ago .. 5years ogo i had a stroke left me paralyzed I had my family but always felt like i was a burden can't do nothing for my children just sit and watch them growing and how Steph thevve been treated sometimes and I must just keep quiet to hold the peace in the house waiting for21years 21years on a house of my own sometimes living with family is not so nice yo have to keep quiet to avoid fights and stress and this song make feel everytime that I will walk again when I listen to it I'm getting so overwhelmed and cry my hart out
