I almost quit creating this year.
as I celebrate my birthday today, I type out this description feeling especially grateful. even though this past year has been very rough for me in a variety of ways, the people who have remained in my life have shown be the true definition of unconditional friendship, love and support. I am so grateful to have found these people and to still have them in my life. to those people, I am glad that we can be a part of each other's journeys regardless of how long its for. @@tristooo I wasn't throwing shade. I was just pointing out that it's literally not part of the sports league those 8 schools share in common. Duke is arguably a better school academically than some of the Ivy League schools.

I was real shocked to hear that gatekeeping exists in the creative industry and especially in Chicago’s industry. It’s so disappointing to hear that dominant ideals of selfishness and rampant individualism has found its way into a sphere that represents pushing barriers and challenging mainstream culture. I hope you ladies continue to use your platform to show the power in “everybody eats” and call out the hypocrisy.
