Irrigation Sprinkler Hack. What you need to know.
Просмотров 234Месяц назад
If you have an irrigation sprinkler system then you probably know the headaches of the system not working properly. Well, here is a tip to save you a lot of time and frustration. After your main cutoff valve, you should install a filter and valve to prevent forgen particles from entering your sprinkler system and clogging up your system. Hope this helps! This is such a nice little destination with very deep springs, and it only costs $4 for parking. The springs look like an upside down volcano.

I like the view from space.
Thank you!
Click bait. No rogue wave. Asshat.
why an asshat. Have you ever been accross the Colombia River Bar
Bull crap. Those guys standing and especially the one guy who lit the pile had severe burns to their face and all their eyebrows and eyelashes were curled up and smoking
I hope your taste in beer has improved since this. Bud Light isn't a beer for men with self respect.
It is salute shell 100inch display grounds
Why not clamps at the T ?
These were a tight fit, and they didn't leak when I tested them. Also, none of the other sprinklers that I had had clamps on them. Could they leak over time? Yes, but I am not worried about the tub blowing off the tee when it's barried
@@AmericaOutdoors1 gotcha. Thank you.
Its in athol not Coeur d’Alene
Correct....But nobody knows where Athol is ar except for locals.
This guy wouldn't know a rogue wave from a tiderip.
nice!
Does it work over 2000km?
No, my range is about 400 yrds.
I Change The Whole Thing ,It Is still linking?
You may not have enough water pressure. Is the sprinkler head popping all the way up?
@@AmericaOutdoors1 Yes ,
Thank you.
Worth my drive every weekend :) of course, I live here.
I wish I could have seen it at high water.
Why people don’t use diesel fuel is absolutely beyond comprehension. Let’s use one of the most volatile fuels out there to ignite ourselves. Used engine oil or diesel will not make you explode.
How much does it increase evap? How much water do you loose if no precipitation?
Not that much. I have nit noticed and decress. I only run it at night, and in FL, when it rains, it rains a lot. I have more of a problem having too much water than losing water. Lol
They sell pool chillers get one
"I once knew a carpenter bee so skilled, it could build a house in the time it took me to decide on a paint color!"
if the leak is at the top, couldnt you unscrew the top part instead of digging up the whole thing?
You can. I just didn't want to risk the chance of dirt getting back into the sprinkler.
Great video. I would have just bought another one, thanks for the tip.
No problem. I'm glad it helped.
It looks like bomb is extreme exploded
So annoying thanks for helping but i think im screwed i just have low water pressure at my house
Here are two things to try. Take the head off the last sprinkler to check for pressure. If you have low pressure you an turn off a few sprinklers until you get enough pressure out of the ones that are still open. Also if you are on a city reclaim water you can call the city and have them test their side of the main cutoff valve to make sure they are supplying you adequate pressure. During the hot days some city's do not have the capacity to keep up with all of the new developments, so they will cut off some neighborhoods of certain days
Me too. I don’t have a filter to check. Just water coming from the city into my system. I have checked each of my sprinklers to see if clogged- nope.
Ask the city to confirm the water pressure at your main valve box.
I'm looking through all the posts, and nobody has asked if that dude is still alive?
He was untouched. The burm directed the blast up and not out. It literally saved his life.
@@AmericaOutdoors1 I will take your word for it Mr. Outdoors.
How come the more advanced we seem to become we can't do the simplest things correct anymore ?
Personally I thinks Gators are very cute animals but yeah I'm definitely gonna keep my distance from them
These guys can move quickly for their size. I definitely have a new respect for them.
I did this hike 30+ years ago! It is absolutely gorgeous and well worth the effort 👌
It's one of the better hikes I have been in. Wish I had more time to explore on top.
He's a nice size, but I wouldn't call him huge. Head out to Panther Swamp (Gulf County) and you'll see Alligators four times that size.
I'll have to go check it out. Thank you.
Thanks great video
See my plan is to run a separate zone for the garden beds which will suck because my system was professional installed so i have no clue where my sprinkler lines are. What your doing works but this is sorta "the poor mans add"
Well my thought was, I am not going to trench a new water line around the perimeter of my property, (.25 acre not big at all) run new wires from my controller to my valve box, buy 5 new sprinkler valves at $100 each as the 4 I currently have are all glued close togeather, and then get a new sprinkler box. When I already have a line that goes around the perimeter and I can add a few regulating valves and smaller 1/8" line off the current zone. It works and allows me to water my whole back yard at once. The poor man's way it to pay someone to professionally do this, as I would be poor after paying the bill and not have money to do other things. Lol If your system is like mine, which was originally professionally installed, your main zone piping should be within 3' of the sprinkler head. I would go in-between two sprinkler heads that are on the same zone and dig a small trench perpendicular to the two heads. I would bet that the pipe is no deeper than 12" - 18".
You just broke their eggs 😭😭
Good to know. I'm considering buying this right now. Overall, do you recommend? I'm thinking this or Sculpfun S30 Ultra.
It works for me. However, there is no camera on the tool head, so it makes it hard to line up your work. If your are only looking to do wood this it is great, not the best for mugs but with some practice it can be done. This is the only one I have had so I cannot speak to other brands.
Those holes are where they lay their eggs. Carpenter bees are super cool
I wonder if they are like salmon, where they come back to where they were born to let their eggs. This board had another bee drilling their hole again this year. They are very interesting.
You may think they'll cool, but thay also cause a lot of damages to homes, garages, swingsets, anything wooden.😢 We discourage carpenter bees around our properties.
I discourage them too, but I do think they are cool little creatures. Nature always seems to amaze me.
So I have 11 zones in my system. System comes in fine and works great until it reaches zone # 8. At that point pressure drops dramatically and only a small stream comes from one or two of that zones heads. If I move to my well pump and crack the bleeder on the impeller housing, air bubbles will come out and within a minute or two the zone will pressurize and come to life. The system will then finish off the watering cycle. Next day this same problem will repeat. What might I check in my system? Thanks
I am no professional, but have you tried to manually open the sprinkler valve? There may be some rocks that got stuck in the diaphragm. Also maybe clean all of the sprinkler heads to make sure they close all the way when finished. Have you tried to use zone 8 shortly after it finished maybe like 30min or an hr afterwards. The air bubbles coming off the pump indicates that air is getting into the system from somewhere.
@@AmericaOutdoors1 thank you for the advice. I’ll check the sprinkler heads and the valve today.
How you setup the machine. I keep getting error 2050-1
When the sun hits my machine, it stops working. I think the machine thinks the bright light is a flame/fire and shuts down. I have to turn the machine off and then back on. Try to shelter the machine from direct sunlight.
@@AmericaOutdoors1 my machine is set on lab. I tried to shut it off and turn on. I takes me to wired Chinese debug mode.
2050-1 is for the tool head not detected. Check your wiring and make sure they are all plugged in and secured. Maybe there is not enough slack in the wire for the tool head to reach the far corners on the work area.
looks great!
You missed out something important about 1:44 in the video. If you press the + sign until it's flashing over day 7 and then once more the INTERVAL ICON will start flashing. Once there you can set the watering interval. That's important in cities like mine where you have a specific start date for watering and from that point on you may only water every third day without being fined.
WOW, Thanks for sharing!
What about that guy?!?! Is he okay?
That guy actually survived? 😮
Good for sending messages letter to my crazy ass russian neighbour
