Hi tax hits us all rich or poor and the small farms are getting completely screwed only to import what they produce once they’re gone because there being squeezed out of business. @ i was born working class, id consider myself middle class now but i see those i was born around, who are still very much working class, living paycheck to pay check, struggling with bills and payments every month opposing the inheritance tax, and i never assumed you were poor, I was speaking of the swathes of working class who are actively opposing this tax and also supporting certain parties that lick the boots of billionaires. High tax for the rich and those with large amounts of assets serves to benefit the poorer, atleast in properly organised nations which the uk never is in fairness. You cannot deny the number of wealthy people who bought farms with 0 interest in farming and 100% interest in gaining the ability to not pay their way and continue to fester in their greed. Also if simply introducing an inheritance tax onto farmers makes it to a point where the entire farming industry completely collapses and is unrecoverable doesnt that say something more to how the current state of british farming is just completely inefficient. The thing is i for one am in favour of subsidies for farmers to produce, but i also dont think farmers should be exempt from the same inheritance tax that others of a similar level of wealth are entitled too. If you make the argument that “we feed the country” should make you exempt from any form of taxation and oversight then that same standard could be applied to so many other fields, but in a reasonable world it isnt so why should farming be any different

@@Ouppyp4ws you could argue certain political parties are reaping rewards from billionaires etc namely reform however labour and the conservatives having received cash injections and material goods not to mention privileged passes also from what I gather listening to a small farmer the other day he says that small farms make up the majority of are produce the current government intend to eliminate the small farms and condense what’s left to the big farms probably to open up greenbelt for housing to meat the demands of are swelling population but small farms play a important part in are communities tying us to agriculture and most likely more humane then super farms also farmers play a huge part in taking care of over grown ditches to reduce flooding and coming to the rescue when the less major roads get chocked up with snowdrifts and people need rescuing

@@jsmith5479 I guess it would have to depend on the environment before the ice age as the logic is the harsh conditions of the ice age would lead to both interactions whenever food was found and a desperate need to create opportunities in such inhospitable conditions for survival. Then there’s the similar pecking order of that time which presumably would be beneath that of large cats etc apparently such an alliance initially would have been a more equal playing field to what we know now as the wolves/dogs would have brought a lot to the table and are cognitive abilities much less then now tho probably it was are initiative that started the cooperation tho we aren’t the only species to work with other animals etc example the moray eel and grouper and ants farm aphids which is perhaps irrelevant tho very interesting
