Is the US deporting Indians? US deports Illegal Indian migrants 2025 #deportations
I’ve been asked this question multiple times over the last few days: “Are all Indians being deported?”
The short answer is NO.
Here’s what actually happened:
The United States deported 104 Indian immigrants as part of President Trump’s strict immigration policies. A U.S. military aircraft landed in Amritsar, Punjab, marking the first deportation flight to India.
If you’re wondering why they were deported, it’s because they violated U.S. immigration laws by remaining in the country without proper documentation.
Some of these deportees had originally entered the U.S. on valid work permits but stayed beyond their visa expiration. Others used illegal entry routes like the “donkey route.” Estimates...
