Well I'm glad some of you had good luck but I totally got fucked. Paid 300 dollars and had to pay so.eone else to fix it. Tuner maxed out injector duty cycle and fuel table. Ran horribly rich to the point my car couldn't be driven. To start all I wanted was DOD delete and vats delete just the click of the mouse. Then they suggested a performance tune. Can someone hand you a carb to adjust air fuel and jet size without hearing it run and reading plugs. Ls4 with intake and btr cam and lifter breathing through Flowmaster exhaust ive learned alot through this ordeal. I should've known better

You know you can put it in third and just drive. The TH400 will automatically shift into the different gears.

when you look up the actual stock specs, even the modern V6 F150s have close to the same HP and torque as the old GMT800 5.3s - I will take the F150 any day, they are also rated very high for crash test safety, they are better in so many ways

It was an options pack. The ram air hood and exhaust on the ss were worth a few ponies, but put the slp lid and pipes on the z28 and they're the same. Not going to split hairs about some z28s and ss had different spring and sway bar packages, not all z28s got the same suspension, and not all ss got the same suspension.

I love these F-bodies. Anything except nitrous. That is basically good for the track only. A procharger or turbo kit would be more usable on the street.

Thanks for making this video. The two wires that go into the PCM have the male/female in between. If I didn’t grab the whole connector and only the female end attached to the fan harness, can I delete the plug and it be fine?
