It is the first in the Dreamlands - which is why I chose it, though they are individual stories, so will not come in order I wanted to lay the groundwork for the style. Hence the change in artwork, as it is less Horrific and more Strange.

I do see where you are coming from - and it's something that is far more complex that it might seem, as me just sitting there would be too static, but what is the right amount of movement. Part of that is probably generational, as the younger generation need something to distract their eye constantly (Thank TV for that, the average time between cuts is about 3 - 5 seconds now, it was minutes when I was young, with some things done with no edits). It is also finding the balance between performance and reading, I am trying to perform the work rather than just read it. I am interested in people opinions, so if anyone else gets this far, please tell me what you think.

I think it's one of those things that doesn't bother most people, but really bothers a few. Lots of people have things that bother them, and you can't cater to them all. For me, it's when people speak with that creaky vocal fry. Really grates on my soul, but most people don't care at all.

@@TheCaveofChronicles Really, Interesting, I didn't know that. Did Bierce and Lovecraft ever write together? I know there were quite a few writers who Lovecraft worked on stories with and even more who just wrote stories based on his mythos.

It is unlikely, Lovecraft was only 24 when Bierce died.

It's an interesting story, if you learn the full history - Guy Fawkes is the one remembered, but he was basically just the Pasty for a bunch of right and powerful politicians (a number of which were also executed)
