600 bucks? Out here in California, one dealer I went to wanted $800 and another wanted $925. But that's also including a "flush", which of course they recommend. I just broke 20k on my '17 2SS and I'm starting to feel the shudder a little bit at freeway speed, especially when I'm cruising in 4cyl mode and I lightly press on the pedal to accelerate. And I also feel it when going up grades in automatic mode, again lightly pressing on the pedal. If I go into manual mode, drop a gear or 2, and keep it at or above 2k RPMs, I don't feel it as much if at all. I called a transmission specialty shop and they want the same as the dealer wants. None of my smaller trusted mechanics in town do flushes. So I'm preparing to spend the $$ soon. Sucks

Sl150 Dextron HP transmission fluid is the OEM fluid, but mobil 1 lv atf hp is also compatible. 11.4 qts is the total fill capacity (pan, torque converter, cooler lines) so if you do the service keep that in mind. 7.4 qts is only what's in the pan, theres fluid throughout the car depending on trim. SS, 1LE, and ZL1 will have more tranny fluid than the base 4 and 6 cyl because of the cooling system

Chevy gives us a defective transmission then charges $500 to fix it, though I was told it had to be replaced.

How to refill?? A link to the adapter would have been nice. I need to get out 10 ounces to replace with the lubricant to fix the shudder. The new type of fluid didn't help.

When I put my 2016 rs Camaro in drive it goes straight to 2nd gear and it want let me go into manual mode and It acts like it’s in a safe mode or something so do i need to add fluid and change it asap

Gm and mobile1 came out with new fluid for these transmission fluid that fixes this problem

Amazing, tHanks for uploading it. Very cool how you can look back in time and see the odd shapes that car designers used. (Come to think of it...those folks from back then would look at most of our cars as being odd....and sounding like vacuum cleaners).

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they even want to slow down all the gas pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. :-(!!!!
