I voiced him a tad deeper & more bitter in some of my other videos. But I appreciate the feedback on all counts! The reason for whole ‘dearest’ thing was a slight ‘script adaptation’ on my part, for the lack of a better term. The actual line Phoeshock translated was this; “And... Dear, were you not listening?”, but this would’ve been a fraction too short for the lip flaps. The challenge of any dubbing experience is to match the flaps as close as possible, even if that means adapting the script to do so. Not only do you have to act believably, it also has to be done within a pre-existing space. As for the pitch of the voice; I imagine his LC & LoR forms to sound similar, yet different. Travis Willingham was my inspiration (& headcanon English VA for him). Some on the Project Moon Reddit & Discord say Travis would be too deep. My logic was that Yesod's voice, for whatever reason, I imagine maturing & getting progressively deeper as time goes on. I imagine his LC self (particularly, human self) being a bit higher-pitched, akin to his Knuckles the Echidna. His Harvey Dent may play to Travis's typecast of authority figure turned hulking brute, but what make distinct from his other roles of that type is the emotional territory. I imagine Travis using Harvey's register more than Two-Face, only letting that Two-Face growl come in on the off-chance you piss Yesod off, or for a critical hit quote (á là Fire Emblem). Apologies for the long, copy-paste paragraph of reasoning why I did it all this way. But again, thank you for you feedback on all this! & I’ll definitely take it to heart.

That's fair enough. My justification/counterpoint for it is that the whole point of *battle* lines is to *be* aggressive. He's former military, IIRC (though, not nearly as overt as Outis); I figure in a life or death situation, his everyman attitude gets put aside & his training kicks in.

As for the distortion, I achieved that via an optional additional plug-in for Audacity called the "DJ Flanger". I hope that helps! On more typical settings, it'd give a similar effect to a jet taking off. Think 343 Guilty Spark or Ghost (Halo & Destiny, respectively). However, if you set the LFO period really low, it becomes like a gargle, not unlike the Flood (Halo) or the Titans (Attack on Titan english dub, specifically). EDIT: Found my settings, they're as follows; *LFO sync:* 10.0. *LFO period (s):* 0.11. *LFO depth (ms):* 5.0. *Feedback (%):* -42.0.
