Both are cool tanks, I have yet to do the brummbar, but the sturm tiger is fun.
Yes thay are both good looking kits from tamiya, thanks for watching, much appreciated.
FOG, got my first big kit haul of them. some nice kits you have there.
Thanks there sure is,Fog pretty good for diarama bases.
jealous i am.
Ha Ha what you like 👍
Some lovely buys there mate.
Thank you, some good kits for sure.
Serious haul. I got back into scale modelling early this year after 40+ years away. Mostly WW2'ish airplanes and ships so far but I want me some tanks. Enjoying games too, mostly sim racing but I like different stuff, old and new.
Thank you,yes it's a good hobby to get in to ,especially now with so many good model manufacturers and gaming is good to,some great games in 2025 thanks for watching, much appreciated.
@@Kitsnbits I was quite surprised by the number of model kit manufacturers when I started to look around. From the big guns to the one man shows in both kits and upgrades. And seems I see something new every week.
Yes very true,so Many to choose from these days.
1:15 That 8rad basic kit dates back to 1974. This is a re-release with new crew, decals and they actually updated a few of the kit parts to modern standards.
Yes you are most right alot of tamiya kits grt released as later kits upgrade I suppose it's cheaper for them than making new moulds, thanks for watching.
ITALERI
Yes and them lol, thanks for that ,thanks for watching.
Great Channel you got. Love Armor suff. Thanks Nick
Thanks so much appreciated, have a great Christmas nick.
nice Christmas presents I got a easy eight sherman in 1/35 scale along with a tiger
Thanks for watching carnt beat a model or two for Christmas have a good day.
Tamiya have been my favorite models since the 70’s. But THIS model is the WORST. And that is because of the tracks. The hinge pins break too easily, and the tracks do NOT always snap together, nor do they stay connected. It took me hours upon hours to do these tracks. No fun at all. Tamiya’s rubber tracks go on in seconds. Not this shiyt. VERY aggravating. If Tamiya continues to use these tracks I may never buy another Tamiya kit again.
Yes that sometimes can be the case with link and lengh tracks some can be a pain.
The m26 pershing is credited with knocking out painzer iv,tiger 1 and panther
Top! But dont use this tracks please! ^^
Thay 👍
I bought this kit yesterday from Hobbycraft, 25% off, £28.50 instead of a ridiculous £38! It's a nice kit though for it's age, even Tamiya have released it. nice review.
Yes it's a popular kit from iterleri hope you enjoy building the kit,and thank uou for the good review .
The figures are Masterbox "British Infantry In Action, Northern Africa WWII era". Italeri own brand figures have never been that great.
I thought thay would something like that masterbox are pretty good figures.
@@Kitsnbits Yeah.... and Italeri's own figures are really poor, its very seldom that I'll use any of the figures with their kits. The thing is though their kits are mostly reboxed 80's and 90's kits that are way below modern standards so I'd recommend buying the Masterbox figures on their own and buying a Hobbyboss, Trumpeter, Takom etc kit of your chosen subject instead of the 80's Italeri kit in a shiny new box. More money yes, but is it really that much more for a much better kit? Each to their own I suppose and I don't mind buying cheap secondhand Italeri kits but there is no way on Earth I'd pay the full retail price for an old Italeri kit in a new box.
I think Tamiya is one of the more reliable companies in terms of making decent models.
Yes and I think so to.
Tamiya still #1for me
True tamiya is very popular
😎 gotta love Tamiya ,should be getting it Christmas .
Kit looks good. I should be getting mine soon; looking forward to it. MAYBE Tamiya can release a Panzer I Ausf A. THEN the Panzer run WOULD be complete!!
Yes tamiya probably will,as thay do alot of variants ,thanks for watching.
Mine arrived Thursday - looking good so far... 👍
Yes it looks like a very nice kit from Tamiya.
2024????????😂😂😂😂😂😂
アメリカ軍名はM109(パラディン)自走砲!! 主砲口径80又は75 (80口径70㍉砲弾又は75口径65㍉砲弾) 副武装(M2重機銃1) 他にはナム戦中に活躍したBIGガン! 85口径70㍉長距離砲も存在して居た!!
The kits have gone silly prices. Especially on ebay and with the price of postage now, not worth buying from there any more
Well there must be a local model shop near you, always best to support, them than ebay.
@@Kitsnbits no, there's no model shops in my town, even the little one in Bridgnorth closed. And the one in Shrewsbury closed too
@Hasdac1896 OK I see is there a hobbycraft,or have you tried jadlam racing, thay offer free postage, and the kits are cheaper than Ebay and amazon, or you can try fog models, alot of companies on line that offer discounts
@@Kitsnbits I don't like hoddy craft there's not much to choose from really.. I've been collecting matchbox kits lately almost got all the armoured vehicles they did now. I will look up jedlam racing, cheers.
@Hasdac1896 OK wish you luck,in your search.
4:19 The Belgian army used the M109A2 as an artillery piece, it certainly wasn't a tank destroyer. Its original colour was a greyish olive green, without camouflage.
Thanks for the information 👍
This tooling dates back to 1977
I'm sure it does alot of iterleri and tamiya and some other companies have old tooling in re boxes
One of the tracks is for korea which italeri released the kit as korea war era easy eight
Nice I have the tamiya Korean sherman which is better kit in my opinion
Hi. These are all re-pops of much older kits. Some ( M109) go back to the late 70's early 80's. The British version was called the Palladin and then the Abbott. They are still in service. And yes they did serve in Vietnam with the U.S. forces. All of these kits have been upgraded with new tracks , etch, and a metal barrel. They might not be the best kits of these vehicles but for their money they are still good value. I hope you enjoy building them . Regards.
Thanks for the info brian, yes for the price, there ok,there is better versions on the market,as thay say you only get what you pay for,I actually prefer tamiya, but iterleri ok,nearly as old as tamiya.
🛵 Never seen or heard of a Kfz 12 model. Been working on the Kfz 15 since the 90's.🐌
The M109 is a long range self propelled artillery vehicle, not a tank destroyer.
Thanks but I bet it could destroy a tank
@@Kitsnbits Oh I'm sure it could with that gun!
I'm sure I have the tamiya kit of that aswell
@@Kitsnbits I have the AFV Club IDF version. It's a nice kit.
@@Kitsnbits It wasn't equipped for short range combat. Neither did the crews ever receive training for tank or tank destroyer combat. The M109A2 gun had a range of 18 km (further with "favourable" winds) and training was all about precise shooting at that distance. In the 1980s the only fire calculating device used by the Belgian army was a handheld modified scientific calculator produced by Texas Instruments. No wonder live fire was only allowed in one location in Belgium, Elsenborn, where they didn't risk hitting anything that wasn't a target.
6:13 that is a reboxed icm kit
Nice :D 👍👍
Thank you
It's okay keep going and try your best :D :P

More like an IBT, an Imaginary Battle Tank.
nice
Thank you so much
Another awesome videos keep it up
Thank you so much.
Chieftain mk 3/5 dunno which mark can't tell which one
Thanks was wondering
Chieftain MK 5 thanks for watching
Nicely done! Keep the momentum.
Do you build any of these kits? Everything I have taken a brief look at, except the comparison views in German Field Guns of Sept. 16th which I watched more than half of are just you showing what the unbuilt models still in the cellophane wraps, and instructions and not build photos. I wonder is this a review channel only? No disrespect intended, mate.
Thanks for watching, yes I do build ,the kits I review, when I get round to it as sometimes normal day life things need doing to,I have put build kits on my channel as shorts.
@@Kitsnbits I got started when an Art professor in the small town university with no hobby store asked me to get a specific model when I went home for the weekend. It was that Tamiya Hanomag that is in your video. I saw it at the story and became curious so I bought one for myself, too. That got me hooked. In my career as a cartoonist I had to come up with three cartoons a week, and each one had to be a new idea and the act of finding a subject and then drawing the idea out, and then going back and doing a pen and ink drawing. It was often quite stressful. So when I finished I would get a kit out and build it. It was relaxing and nice to follow a set of instructions that laid out the entire process, rather than what I had been doing. And I decided in about '88 to not just buy a kit to build then, but to buy something I could put aside for my retirement. Retirement did not come until 2010 so I have a huge stash and I'm still buying kits. So occassionally I got into the old stash to pick out a kit that has been in the stash for decades. I also bought the after market parts for those kits at the same time so that even an old kit will look detailed and competitive with what is on the market today.
Meny moderlers end up having a stash,of kits ,so.e become collectors aswell,,but it is better to build, than not.
Stellar play! Keep it up.
Thanks for watching, sure will.
Тамия🎉
I will not be trying to compete with you on car kits LOL.
That's nice to know then mr andy,I only have these as I like Toyota cars yes sad but true 👍
This i like.
Yes not a bad kit, don't think it was to expensive actually .
キット、韓国👍
That actually a pretty cool model
Thanks so much
作りやすさやプロポーションなんかは決定版ですなぁ👍
The tracks are not usable. The end connectors are at the end of each track link. They should cross two links.
Yes thay do look flimsy.
Thank you for sharing, Looks like a nice kit. Like to see it when you have built it.
It's as alot of sprues, and I have alot of kits to build, so it will be awhile, thank you for watching.
Nice!
Thank you
I wish bandai started releasing their own line of military kits. I dont have as much space of kit to properly paint my models so this why I have yet to build any tamiya kits.
My father had over 100 armor kits and 50 or so airplane kits. Not counting a hundred or so built kits. Guess I'm going to have a yard sale
Yep that's alot of kits,enjoy.
Subbed and liked too
@@Isaac-c3u much appreciated.
