Does this get rid of static noise from the Bluetooth audio?
It don't work on my 2021 q50
What is it used for, to silence the cabin from noise ?
Does it also affect the sound outside the car or only inside?
Inside only.
Doesn’t work for my 2021 sensory w/ Bose speakers
Turned the wrong one off
If I've not thanked you already, I thank you now. I have used the link to this video to help others. Thanks again.
I didn’t know this was part of the car. Is it supposed to make the interior noise quieter?
Man this sucks. I don't have the option in my Q70 to disable the ANC. Got an aftermarket system installed and the feedback is horrible when I'm below 1k rpm.
Did they not offer to disable the ANC when you got your aftermarket installed??
@@hurricanestarang I don't think there's an option for that on this car. I heard it would disable the voice commands or something to that effect.
I’m getting a loud rumbling sound from my sub. Can anyone tell me how to disable the Active Noise Cancellation in a 2018 Q50? There is no option in my secret menu to do so.
I have the same issue and it’s driving me crazy 2018 q50s did you ever figure out a solution ?
I think I figured it out trying it in the morning. ruclips.net/video/IzHq-8KWGvQ/видео.html
Has anyone found out anything
If you have a q60 non bose and If you cant find that option. Look under the rear third brake light you will see a tiny brown connector. Unplug it and you should be fine.
Can you contact the person who showed you this trick and ask if they have one for the 19-20 infinity that this trick doesn’t work with
There is a Q60 video that shows how.
Is this a permanent change or do you have to do it every time you turn the vehicle on?
Its off till you turn it back on from step 1
Will this work for the 2015 models?
Just in case anyone is wondering, this does not work for the 2014 models
Does it works for the 2015 models?
@@Mcvjonathan wondering the same thing??
What about 2017 models
Did not work on my 15 premium. I have that same menu but not ACS/ANC option.
Worked in my 2014 Q50 Hybrid sport
I think I didn't close that diagnostic stuff and it drain my battery, any idea on how to.close it
BRO YOU SAVED MY LIFE WITH THIS .. I WAS GETTING BUZZING NOISE FROM MY SUB FOR 4 YEARS AND I TURNING OFF ANC WORKED !!@#$%^&* THANK YOU !
You went 4 years? Why tho
@@milathecat5454 😭
Hey is it like when you accelerate the sub go up with it??
Does this work on luxe q60 models?
Being that this was done in a Diagnostic menu, does the driver have to turn ANC/ASC off every time they put their key back in the ignition? On my 2010 Honda Accord, I was able to turn ANC off in diagnostic mode, but only for that session(trip). Ultimately, I went through the process of partially de-trimming my center console, some dash trim, and under-radio storage bins, to remove the radio from the dash and disconnect the ANC harness from the back of the radio. Voila, no more ANC sapping the bass out of my factory system!
What’s this for brother?
Active Noise Cancellation for cars is similar to noise-cancelling headphones by Bose. It uses in-car microphones to pick up engine and road noise, which the ANC brain itself inverts the polarity of, and feeds a low-level version of those sounds through your car stereo speakers, to cancel out some of the noise. Vehicle manufacturers are under constant pressure to reduce weight. So replacing 20lbs of floor, door, and ceiling insulation with just 5lbs of microphones and electronics seems enticing. I've been driving around my 2010 Honda now for several days with the ANC unplugged, and the only difference I hear is slightly CLEANER sound through my factory system speakers. Just insulate and weatherstrip the vehicles properly, and you don't need electronic gimmickery to produce a quiet cabin.
@@Zickcermacity Electronic gizmos can never do the job of craftsmanship. However, one day we'll probably have both, because space-cars will have to be airtight!
You need to disable ASC not ANC to get rid of fake exhaust noise.
I can't turn it back on it won't allow to press it
@@jayjunior2023is it permanent or did u fix it?
the issue is ANC (Active noice control) when you have subs, not the ASC (exhaust sound). You can leave ASC on.
@@jayjunior2023 you have to do the diagnosis first, like in the video. You have to follow the order this guy is doing it.
Will this work on the 2018?
Yep. Did it on my 2018 q50 RS
Didn't on mine
@@darieng619 It works, mine is a ’18 Red Sport. I had to try it a couple times, but it worked. I’ve had to do it twice now because the dealer reset my computer about a year ago when I had it in for service. You might have to try it with the car on but engine not running. That’s what I did the first time, I don’t remember if I had to do that the second time or if I did it with the engine running. Worth the hassle, sounds so much better au natural.
