Chapter 210 😢

Man this opening touches my heart. I always think about Thorfinn and what he went through. The verse "I've paid my dues I've sold my soul, So tel me what is left for me When I've given up everything" describes Thorfinn so well. We all know his Story with Askeladd and what happened to him afterward. Man, I can't even describe it right now, just read the verse again and let the memories and scenes play in your mind. Or the Verse, "Can someone tell me how I draw these scenes that I used to dream of ? No matter what scenery I saw, I didn't feel anything." When he was young, he took the daggers from his Father Thors and wanted to kill someone with it. Someone he could call an enemy. But he didn't gain anything from that. This Opening has so many fitting verses to Thorfinn and his History that i can't break down every single one of them. Maybe in the future I will do it. For myself. And maybe someone will read it and will get the messages from this Opening.

I just couldnt get into the show and stopped watching half way through season 1, but damn, that intro music though! And knowing it's the same singer on FF7 Remake "Hollow" and Attack on Titan "Barricades" really open my eyes to SSTP.
