Tandem paragliding is when two people, typically an instructor with a passenger, fly together in a single paragliding wing. The paraglider, or wing as it is called, is specifically designed to carry two people. The instructor sits at the back and steers the paraglider while the passenger sits in front and enjoys the ride.
Anyone can enjoy this experience as long as the passenger has no physical disability. Unfortunately, having a disability will disqualify one from paragliding. Those with heart conditions, sprains, plaster casts, and pregnant women can’t go paragliding. Otherwise, most people are good to go.
